Schultz was knocked out of Sunday's game early in the first period and did not travel to Brooklyn for Thursday's game. Zdeno Chara is expected to return to the lineup to replace Schultz.

Raffl was acquired from the Flyers are the trade deadline and is expected to play Thursday against the Islanders. Raffl skated with Lars Eller and Conor Sheary in the morning skate, so he'll debut on the third line and comes in with three goals and five assists in 34 games this season.

Clutterbuck has been out for the last three games but is expected to replace Leo Komarov on the fourth line on Thursday. Known more for his physicality, Clutterbuck has scored three goals and six assists in 41 games in 2021.

Gerbe has only appeared in one NHL game this season but will dress for his second on Thursday with Zac Dalpe (personal) out. Gerbe has scored four goals with six assists (10 points) in 13 AHL games.

Dalpe had played in eight straight games but has returned to Columbus to be with his wife for the birth of their child. Nathan Gerbe will replace him in the Blue Jackets' bottom-6.

Stenlund will take a seat on Thursday to allow Max Domi to draw back into the lineup. Stenlund has just one goal and two assists in his last 18 games.

Domi has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Kevin Stenlund in the lineup on Thursday. Domi, who has just seven points (2G / 5A) in his last 15 games, is expected to skate on the third line and PP2 in Tampa.

Benn was acquired from the Canucks at the trade deadline and will replace Logan Stanley on the Jets' third pairing on Thursday. Benn has scored one goal with eight assists, 39 shots, 14 hits and 46 blocked shots in 31 games this season.

Nielsen suffered a lower-body injury vs. Chicago last Friday and will miss the rest of the 2021 season. Nielsen was in and out of the Red Wings lineup all year, so this won't affect their lineup too much.

Bertuzzi has not played since January 30th, so this isn't overly surprising with Detroit all but eliminated from the playoffs. Bertuzzi finishes the season with just seven points (5G / 2A) in nine games.

Larkin was hurt late in Tuesday's loss in Dallas and will not be available for Thursday's rematch in Detroit. The Red Wings' captain will undergo further evaluation and a more detailed injury report will likely be revealed in the coming days. Expect Evgeny Svechnikov to draw back into the lineup to replace Larkin.

With the team out of the playoff race, the Sabres will turn to a youth movement on the blueline on Thursday. Miller will be scratched in favor of Will Borgen, who returns from a two-month absence. Miller has scored just one goal with two assists in his last 22 games.

Borgen has been out for two months after suffering a forearm fracture in late February but is set to play Thursday vs. the Bruins. Borgen, who is pointless in four games this season, will replace Colin Miller on the third pairing.

Kapanen has been out since March 24th but has been skating recently and took part in the morning skate on Thursday, lining him up to be a game-time decision vs. the Devils. It's unclear where Kapanen will slot into the lineup but following the addition of Jeff Carter, he could start out on the third line.
