Hague was a surprise scratch on Tuesday, with the Golden Knights not announcing his absence prior to warmups. Alex Pietrangelo is also out with an illness, so Kaedan Korczak and Ben Hutton will fill in on the Vegas blue line.

Hague has only played one of the previous five games and has been placed on Injured Reserve, eligible to return to the lineup, at the earliest, on November 11th against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 25-year-old Hague has one point (1G / 0A) and averages 16:08 time-on-ice through nine games this season.

Hague's injury will make room for Ben Hutton's season debut. Hague has one goal and zero assists in nine games this season.

It's unclear when Hague suffered the injury, but he was unable to join his teammates on the bench for the start of the third period of Friday's game. We should receive an update on his status ahead of Saturday's game against the Sharks.

Hague missed Game 2 due to a lower-body injury and will remain out on Saturday as Vegas hosts Dallas for Game 3. The 25-year-old has missed a total of eight regular season games in the last two season and had two goals, 12 points, 43 PIMs and 105 SOG in 73 games this year.

Hague played 15:41 time-on-ice in the Golden Knights 4-3 game one victory over the Dallas Stars but suffered a lower-body injury at some point and will not be able to play on Wednesday in game two. The 25-year-old Hague finished the 2023-24 campaign with 12 points (2G / 10A), 111 blocks, and 153 hits in 73 games.

Alex Pietrangelo is battling an illness and will not suit up on Tuesday, allowing Hague to draw into the lineup. Hague did not play the last game but has been a regular for the Golden Knights this season, posting 12 points (2G / 10A), 102 hits, and 94 blocks in 58 games this season.
