Luongo will start Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Luongo allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Panthers loss to the Senators on Sunday. Luongo has lost three straight games while allowing a combined 11 goals on 109 shots (.899 SV%). Tonight he faces the Penguins for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 3.86 GAA and .872 SV% in the first two meetings of the season.

The Maple Leafs have signed Garret Sparks to a one-year extension worth $750k.

Sparks won the backup goalie battle in the preseason but has had a tough season, going 7-5-1 with a 3.09 GAA and .902 SV% in 14 games. Sparks likely has the inside track to remain the Maple Leafs backup next season but don’t be surprised if they bring in a veteran to push him in training camp.

Garret Sparks
Anderson was in the starter's crease at the Senators morning skate.

Anderson allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Senators loss in Tampa Bay last Friday. Anderson has not recorded a win since December 17th, going 0-10-0 with a 3.69 GAA and .889 SV% in his last 11 appearances. With the worst team in the NHL playing in front of him, Anderson should not be owned in any formats right now.

Craig Anderson
Dumoulin (concussion) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Dumoulin has missed the last three games after suffering a concussion in the Penguins’ outdoor game in Philadelphia. Dumoulin rotated on the top-pair in Monday’s practice and was a full participant in Tuesday’s morning skate, but remains a game-time decision. Dumoulin, who will likely skate with Justin Schultz if he plays, has 21 points (2G / 19A), a plus-27 rating and 78 shots on goal in 62 games this season.

Brian Dumoulin
Murray will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Murray stopped 36 of 37 shots in the Penguins win in Montreal on Saturday. Murray has just one regulation loss in his last eight games, going 5-1-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .924 SV% over that span. Tonight he faces a Panthers team that is 0-1-3 in their last four games—Murray stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 5-1 win in his first start vs. Florida (Jan.8).

Matt Murray
Vatanen (illness) will not play on Tuesday.

Vatanen missed Monday’s practice for “maintenance” but will not play Tuesday due to an illness. With Vatanen out, Egor Yakovlev will return to the blueline vs. the Blue Jackets. He is day-to-day and could be back for Friday’s game in Washington.

Sami Vatanen
Vasilevskiy will likely start Tuesday vs. the Jets.

Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 37 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Senators on Saturday. The victory extended Vasilevskiy’s winning streak to nine games—he has a 1.74 GAA, .943 SV% and two shutouts during that time. Vasilevskiy is a must-start regardless of his matchup, even against a Jets team that is averaging 4.00 goals per game since adding Kevin Hayes to their team at the deadline.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Lehner will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Lehner was pulled after allowing three goals on 13 shots in the Islanders 4-1 loss to the Flyers on Sunday. Despite a rough outing, Lehner will face the team that drafted him on Tuesday. He is a must-start against a Senators team that has torn their team apart—they have lost seven of their last eight while being outscored 35-to-16.

Robin Lehner
Demers (knee) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Demers has been sidelined since November 15th but appears to be close to returning to the Coyotes blueline. Demers has just one goal and two assists in 18 games this season, so he should remain on the waiver wire in the final week of the fantasy hockey regular season.

Jason Demers
The Flyers have recalled Justin Bailey from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Jakub Voracek missed Sunday’s game and Nolan Patrick was hurt early in the same game, so Bailey’s call-up suggests one of them won’t be available for Wednesday’s game. The 23-year-old has no points in five games with Philadelphia but has picked up six goals and two assists (eight points) in 13 AHL games.

Justin Bailey
The Islanders have recalled Josh Ho-Sang from Bridgeport (AHL) under emergency conditions.

The Islanders have a couple of forwards that are battling illness, so Ho-Sang figures to draw right into the lineup on Tuesday. The 23-year-old has just one goal and one assist in 10 games with the Islanders but has 36 points (6G / 30A) in 44 AHL games.

Josh Ho-Sang
The Islanders have recalled Michael Dal Colle from Bridgeport (AHL) under emergency conditions.

The Islanders have a couple of forwards that are battling illness, so Dal Colle figures to draw right into the lineup on Tuesday. The 22-year-old has just four points (2G / 2A) in 20 games with the Islanders this season but is a point-per-game player in the AHL, scoring 18 goals with 16 assists (34 points) in 34 games.

Koskinen led the Oilers onto the ice for warmups.

Koskinen stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Oilers shutout win in Columbus on Saturday. Koskinen has played well as of late, winning two in a row while stopping 65 of the 67 shots (.970 SV%) that he has faced. Since Cam Talbot was traded on February 16th, Koskinen has gone 4-2-2 with a 2.38 GAA, .924 SV% and one shutout.
