Holtby allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Capitals loss to the Panthers on Saturday. With Pheonix Copley starting on Monday, Holtby will get his fourth start against Columbus of the season. In the three previous meetings, Holtby has gone 1-1-0 with a sparkling 1.23 GAA, .960 SV% and one shutout. He has limped to a 3.44 GAA and .896 SV% on the road this year though.



Quick allowed five goals on 33 shots in the Kings loss in Boston on Saturday. The win snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Quick, who has won three of his last five starts while allowing a combined 16 goals on 159 shots (.899 SV%). The veteran netminder is 4-6-3 with a 3.31 GAA and .894 SV% on the road this season and draws a brutal matchup in Washington

Copley allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Capitals win over the Avalanche last Thursday. It was the first win for Copley in nearly one month and moved him to 4-1-2 with a 2.65 GAA and .917 SV% on home-ice this season. Tonight he faces a Kings team that has played very well on their current road-trip, going 3-1-1 while averaging 3.40 goals for per game.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 47 shots in the Canucks shootout win over the Flames on Saturday. The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Markstrom, who allowed a combined 12 goals on 143 shots (.916 SV%) over that four-game stretch. Tonight he faces another tough test with the Sharks in town—Markstrom has gone 12-6-3 with a 2.68 GAA and .914 SV% in Vancouver this year.

Gambrell missed the morning skate and is questionable to play Monday in Vancouver. Lukas Radil will draw into the lineup for Gambrell and skate on the fourth line if he can't play.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Coyotes win over the Stars on Saturday. The victory snapped a three-game losing skid for Kuemper, who is now 1-2-1 with a 3.53 GAA and .894 SV% to start February. He draws a tough assignment in Vegas this evening and comes in having gone 0-1-1 with a 3.89 GAA and .871 SV% in two starts vs. the Golden Knights this season.

The injuries continue to pile up for Arizona as Kempe is doubtful for Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered vs. Dallas on Saturday. Josh Archibald will move to centre if Kempe can’t play.

Karlsson will not play Monday in Vancouver but head coach Pete DeBoer said that he is “really close” and that they don’t want to risk re-aggravating the injury.

Jones allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Sharks win in Calgary last Thursday. Jones has won four straight games while allowing a combined 12 goals on 137 shots (.912 SV%). Tonight he faces his hometown team for the 10th time in his career—he is an impressive 7-1-1 with a 1.66 GAA and .949 SV% in the first nine meetings of his career.

Nichushkin has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Dennis Gurianov on Tuesday. Nichushkin has been disappointing since returning from the KHL, failing to score a goal with seven assists in 39 games.

Gurianov has been in the lineup for the last seven games but will be replaced by Valeri Nichushkin on Tuesday. Gurianov had just one assist in those seven contests and only four points (1G / 3A) in 18 games this season.

Edler was fortunate not to suffer any facial fractures but is suffering from concussion symptoms. He will miss his fourth straight game on Monday and is expected to miss at least a couple more weeks with a concussion.

MacEwen, 22, was an undrafted free agent who signed after two and a half years in the QMJHL. MacEwen is in his second season with Utica (AHL) and has 17 goals and 25 assists (42 points) in 49 games. There is no word on who MacEwen will replace in the lineup.

Bishop will miss his third straight game, so Anton Khudobin will start in Florida. Bishop remains day-to-day and could be back later this week.

Carter will miss his fourth straight game on Monday but could be ready for Thursday’s game vs. the Canucks. With Nate Thompson getting traded to Montreal and Carter still out, Austin Wagner will draw into the Kings lineup on Monday.
