Bishop has gone 5-7-0 with a 2.63 GAA and .911 SV% on the road this season. Tonight he faces a Blues team has lost three of their last five and come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.
Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Jets win over the Stars on Sunday. Hellebuyck hasn’t had the season he’s wanted but is tied for third in wins while posting a 2.64 GAA and .913 SV% in 14 starts since November 29th. In his first start vs. the Avalanche, Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 30 shots in a 5-2 win (Nov.9).
Weber was hit in the face by a Mikael Granlund shot in the first period of Monday’s game. Weber ended up returning to the ice during the first but did not come back out for the second period. However, an X-ray showed no fracture to his cheek, so Weber is expected to play on Tuesday.
Eichel was on the ice for Tuesday’s morning skate but the Sabres will hold him out for the third straight game. The Sabres want to be “cautious” with their star centre, leaving the door open for him to return during their Friday/Saturday back-to-back.

The cold streak will likely continue in Tampa Bay—Bobrovksy allowed eight(!!!) goals on 31 shots in an 8-2 loss in Tampa Bay on October 13th.
Kinkaid allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Devils loss in Vegas on Sunday. With MacKenzie Blackwood still banged up, Kinkaid will start for a second straight game. Kinkaid had an impressive 4-0-0 start to the season but has gone 9-11-6 with a 3.32 GAA and .892 SV% since. Kinkaid is a risky but solid option against a Sabres team without Jack Eichel
Holtby allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Capitals win in Detroit on Sunday. It was a strong bounce-back performance from Holtby, who allowed a combined 11 goals in his previous two starts. In his only start against the Bruins, Holtby posted a 25-save shutout in a 7-0 victory on opening night.
Luongo allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Panthers loss in Buffalo last Thursday. It was a rare loss for Luongo against the Sabres but he has now given up at least three goals in four of his last five starts—1-3-0 with a 4.24 GAA and .863 SV% over that stretch. He should remain glued to your fantasy bench against a red-hot Penguins team.
McElhinney allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Blue Jackets last Friday. McElhinney has won two straight and is 2-2-0 with a 1.76 GAA and .935 SV% in his last four outings. The veteran netminder enters play on Tuesday at 3-3-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this season.
Hutton allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Sabres loss to the Islanders on New Year’s Eve. The loss extended Hutton’s losing streak to six games—going 0-4-2 with a 2.96 GAA and .911 SV% over that stretch. He has not faced the Devils this season but he is 9-4-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .925 SV% at the KeyBank Center.
Rasmussen was a late scratch from Sunday’s lineup and will miss his second straight game on Tuesday. Monitor the rookie’s status as the Red Wings head into their back-to-back on Friday/Saturday.
