Mrazek allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Hurricanes win in Edmonton on Sunday. Mrazek has gone 4-2-0 with a 3.34 GAA and .880 SV% in six starts in January. Mrazek has stepped up as the Hurricanes No.1 but draws a rough matchup in Calgary. The Flames have gone 10-1-2 while averaging 4.62 goals for per game in their last 13 games.

Chychrun was listed as a game-time decision due to a minor undisclosed injury but appears set to take on the Senators tonight. Chychrun has recorded three goals and seven assists (10 points) in 30 games this season.

Vlasic was originally listed as a game-time decision on Monday before being scratched in warmups and will not be available for the eighth straight game on Tuesday.

Holtby was yanked after allowing four goals on 11 shots in the Capitals loss in Chicago on Sunday. It was a disastrous outing for Washington and Holtby is now 0-1-0 with a 3.85 GAA and .851 SV% in his last three starts. Tonight he faces a Sharks team on a back-to-back on home-ice, where he is 10-7-1 with a 2.67 GAA, .916 SV% and one shutout.

Jones was pulled after allowing five goals on 21 shots in the Sharks loss in Florida last night. Despite the rough outing, the Sharks will go right back to Jones tonight in Washington. Jones has allowed 11 goals on 47 shots (.766 SV%) during the current road-trip and the lack of rest makes him a risky option vs. the defending Champs.

Bozak has missed the last nine games with a concussion but could be back in the Blues lineup on Wednesday according to head coach Craig Berube. Bozak has had a slow offensive season, scoring just six goals with 12 assists (18 points) in 39 games.

Cracknell who started the season in the Maple Leafs organization has picked up 13 points (7G / 6A) in 13 games since joining San Diego—giving him 23 points (10G / 13A) in 27 AHL games this season. The 33-year-old has 21 goals and 22 assists (43 points) in 208 career NHL games.

Falk has been a healthy scratch for the last 12 games before being waived on Monday. Falk returns to the AHL, where he has one goal and one assist in eight games this year.

It looks like Cholowski is going to be a healthy scratch for the second straight game, with Filip Hronek remaining in the lineup. It seems like an odd decision for a defenseman that is on-pace for 12 goals and 15 assists (27 points) in 79 games.

Ferland missed Sunday’s game in Edmonton but will face his former team tonight in Calgary. Ferland comes in having scored two goals with six assists (eight points) in his last nine games. Look for Ferland to skate with Lucas Wallmark and Teuvo Teravainen.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Hurricanes win in Edmonton on Sunday. Mrazek has gone 4-2-0 with a 3.34 GAA and .880 SV% in six starts in January. Howard gave up five goals in the Red Wings 6-4 loss in Calgary last Friday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Howard, who will make his 33rd start of the season on Tuesday. Tonight he faces an Oilers team that is in a bit of a tailspin, having lost 11 of their last 16 games while averaging 2.75 goals for per game.

Spooner has been terrible since being acquired for Ryan Strome, scoring just two goals with one assist in 24 games. Despite clearing waivers this afternoon, Spooner will stay with the team and skate on the third line with Colby Cave and Kailer Yamamoto.

Petrovic has missed the last six games with a concussion but is expected to play on Tuesday—replacing Caleb Jones, who was sent down on Monday. Petrovic has one assist and a minus-5 rating in five games since being acquired by the Panthers.

Balcers has one goal and one assist in eight games since being called-up, playing an average of 9:51 TOI/gm. He is expected to be replaced by Mark Borowiecki as the Senators are likely going with 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

Borowiecki suffered a hamstring injury in Carolina on Friday and missed Saturday’s game in St. Louis but will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday night. Borowiecki is a wrecking ball and only carries value in hits leagues.

Rittich allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Flames win in Edmonton on Saturday. Rittich has gone 6-0-1 despite posting a 3.12 GAA and .896 SV% in his last seven starts—thanks to 4.57 GF/pg in goal-support over that time. The 26-year-old has yet to lose in regulation on home-ice, going 8-0-4 with a 3.34 GAA and .880 SV%.

Dahlstrom has performed pretty well since being called-up, picking up six assists in 18 games. Dahlstrom will be replaced Henri Jokiharju on Tuesday.
