Gambrell (concussion) is expected to return to the Sharks lineup on Saturday.
Gambrell missed one game with a concussion because a few got cancelled due to COVID-19 protocol but he's expected to be back Saturday vs. the Blues. Gambrell would replace Tomas Hertl, who is the one on the COVID-19 list. He has just two assists in 13 games this season.
Simek (upper-body) is expected to return to the Sharks lineup on Saturday.
Simek has been sidelined by an upper-body injury since February 13th but is expected to replace either Nicolas Meloche or Frederik Claesson in the Sharks lineup on Saturday. Simek has two assists, five shots and a minus-2 rating in 11 games this season.
Line Change
Chmelevski will draw into the Sharks lineup on Saturday.
It will be Chmelevski's first game since February 5th, as he draws into the lineup to replace Tomas Hertl (COVID-19). Chmelevski has just one career NHL game under his belt but the former sixth-round pick had one assist in 6:11 TOI in that game.
Hertl will be out for at least two weeks due to COVID-19 protocol.
Hertl tested positive for COVID-19 and head coach Bob toughener said he'll miss at least two weeks as he follows protocol. With the Sharks back in action on Saturday, look for Alexander Chmelevski to replace Hertl in the lineup.
Anderson (lower-body) is questionable to play Saturday in Winnipeg.
Anderson was hurt in the first period of Thursday's loss in Winnipeg and was not on the ice for Friday's practice. The team called Anderson "day-to-day" and they are "hopeful" that he'll be available on Saturday. If he's not, look for Tyler Toffoli to take his spot on the second line with Nick Suzuki and Jonathan Drouin.

Bitetto will be a healthy scratch on Friday with Miller returning.
Miller has been activated from the COVID-19 reserve list and is expected to play on Friday.

Timmins suited up in five straight games but played just 7:44 TOI on Wednesday. Jacob MacDonald will draw in to replace Timmins.
O’Connor will be a healthy scratch on Friday.
O’Connor played 9:09 TOI on Wednesday but will come out of the lineup on Friday with Brandon Saad (personal) drawing back in.
MacDonald will draw back into the Avalanche lineup on Friday.
MacDonald has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Conor Timmins in the lineup on Friday. MacDonald has one goal in six career NHL games.
Saad (personal) will return to the Avalanche lineup on Friday.
Saad missed Wednesday’s game for the birth of his child but will replace Logan O’Connor in the lineup on Friday. Saad will be back on a line with Nazem Kadri and enters play with 10 points (6G / 4A).
Campbell (leg) will travel on the Maple Leafs five-game road trip.
Campbell has been out since January 24th with a leg injury but will accompany the team out west. Campbell told reporters that he’s “feeling good and ready to go,” so it sounds like he could stat Saturday in Edmonton. In two starts this season, Campbell has gone 2-0-0 while stopping 48 of 52 shots (.923 SV%).

Miska will start Friday in Arizona.

Chlapik cleared unconditional waivers and the Senators have terminated his contract.
Chlapik was a second-round pick in 2015 and has appeared in just one game with the Senators this season. Chlapik was on a one-year contract with a $735K cap-hit but is now a free agent after having his contract terminated.
Ovechkin (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.
Ovechkin was missing from Friday’s practice session and the Capitals have listed him as a game-time decision for Saturday’s game in New Jersey. With a 1 PM ET start, monitor his status when they hit the ice for warmups at 12:30 PM ET.
Matthews is day-to-day with a hand injury and questionable to play Saturday in Edmonton.
Matthews has been dealing with a hand injury and missed Friday’s practice, making him questionable for Saturday’s game. Friday was believed to be more maintenance-related, so expect him to play in the battle of MVP candidates.
