Stewart has cleared waivers and been assigned to Lehigh Valley (AHL).
Stewart was placed on waivers yesterday but played 5:32 TOI in St. Louis. After clearing waivers he's been sent to Lehigh Valley in order to make room for Joel Farabee to be recalled.
Farabee was called up from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and is expected to play Thursday.
Farabee had to be sent down yesterday to make way for Alex Lyon to backup Brian Elliott. With Chris Stewart clearing waivers and being assigned to the Phantoms, Farabee comes back up and is expected to play vs. the Canadiens.
Janmark (illness) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.
Janmark is feeling sick and will be a gamete decision against the Sabres. Corey Perry served his five-game suspension and will return to the lineup on Thursday and could be the one to replace Janmark if he can't go.
Faksa (upper-body) remains day-to-day and will not play on Thursday.
Faksa will miss his second straight game on Thursday and is officially listed as day-to-day. With Faksa out, Justin Dowling will remain in the lineup vs. the Sabres.
Cizikas (groin) will return to the Islanders lineup on Thursday.
Cizikas missed the last two games with a groin injury but will play tonight vs. the Rangers. He comes in having scored four goals in his last eight games.

Kampfer replaced Matt Grzelcyk on Tuesday but the two will swap spots again Thursday.

Krejci left the morning skate early with a "nagging injury" and will be a game-time decision vs. the Penguins. Look for Krejci to centre the second line with Danton Heinen and Karson Kuhlman if he can play.

Rinaldo has played in four straight games but will be scratched in favour of Mark Jankowski on Thursday.

Hughes was forced to leave Tuesday's game in Toronto with an illness but was back on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and will play in Washington. Hughes comes in with five points (2G / 3A) in his last nine games.
Rooney (illness) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.
Rooney missed the Devils morning skate due to an illness and will be a game-time decision in Washington. If Rooney can't play, look for the Devils to dress seven defensemen.

Balcers will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
Balcers played in six straight games but will be scratched in place of Scott Sabourin against the Golden Knights.
Sabourin will draw into the Senators lineup on Thursday.
Sabourin has sat out of the last five games but will replace Rudolfs Balcers in the lineup on Thursday. Sabourin has one goal, two assists and 17 PIMS in 14 games this season.

Rittich stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Flames 2-0 loss in Montreal on Monday. It was a strong outing for Rittich, who was starting to lose his grip on the No.1 gig in recent weeks. He’s been solid on the road, posting a 2.83 GAA and .915 SV% but draws a brutal matchup in Toronto, where the Maple Leafs have scored 4.75 goals per game in their last eight home games.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators.
