The Predators have activated Colton Sissons (lower-body) from IR.

Sissons has missed the last seven games but appears set to return to the Predators lineup in Montreal on Saturday. Sissons has quietly had a solid season, scoring seven goals and nine assists (16 points) in 35 games—on-pace for a career-high 15 goals and 34 points.

Colton Sissons
Price will start Saturday vs. the Predators.

Price stopped all 33 shots he faced in the Canadiens shutout win over the Canucks on Thursday. It was impressive return to the crease for Price, who missed the three previous games. Price is now on a personal three-game winning streak, stopping 92 of 96 shots (.958 SV%). Price enters play on Saturday at 8-7-2 with a 3.02 GAA and, .895 SV% and one shutout on home-ice.

Carey Price
Ehlers will be out until mid-February with an upper-body injury.

Ehlers left Friday’s game in Pittsburgh with an upper-body injury and the evaluation did not go well. Head coach Paul Maurice announced on Saturday afternoon that Ehlers will miss approximately six weeks. Jack Roslovic moved into the Jets’ top-6 with Ehlers not on the ice for Saturday’s practice.

Nikolaj Ehlers
Koskinen will start Saturday in Los Angeles.

Koskinen made 29 saves on 30 shots in the Oilers win in Arizona on Wednesday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Koskinen, who is 5-4-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .900 SV% on the road heading into Saturday’s game in Los Angeles. He stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 3-2 win in his first start vs. the Kings (Nov.29).

Jones will start Saturday vs. the Lightning.

Jones allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Sharks win in Colorado on Wednesday. Despite allowing a combined 10 goals on 88 shots (.886 SV%), Jones has won each of his last three starts. The 28-year-old has gone 10-3-3 with a 2.69 GAA and .902 SV% on home-ice this season but is a terrible option vs. the Lightning team, especially without three of their regular six defensemen.

Martin Jones
Cave will be a healthy scratch on Saturday.

Cave has been held pointless in the last four games and has seen his playing time drop. With David Backes set to return from suspension, Cave will serve as a healthy scratch.

Colby Cave
The Sharks have placed Justin Braun (lower-body) on IR.

Braun came out of the Wednesday’s game after playing just 6:10 TOI and heads to IR ahead of Saturday’s game. Jacob Middleton was called up from San Jose (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut with both Braun and Radek Simek sidelined with injuries.

Justin Braun
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick was lit up for six goals on 33 shots in the Kings loss to the Lightning on Thursday. It was an ugly night for the Kings and Quick was hung out to dry. Tonight he faces the Oilers for the second time on home-ice, where he is 4-6-1 with a 2.99 GAA, .901 SV% and one shutout. Quick allowed three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start vs. Edmonton (Nov.29).
