The Kings have signed Alex Iafallo to a four-year contract worth $16.0 million ($4.0M AAV).
Iafallo was either going to get traded or re-signed today and the Kings elected to keep the 27-year-old winger. Iafallo has 11 goals and 14 assists (25 points) in 39 games this season, giving him 101 points (43G / 58A) in his last 191 games.

Chrona was a fifth-round pick in 2018 and just finished his second season at the University of Denver. Chrona was 7-11-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .907 SV% in 18 games in 2021.
The Lightning have acquired Frederik Claesson from the Sharks for Magnus Chrona.
Claesson has only appeared in four NHL games this season but provides additional depth for the Lightning. Claesson will have to battle for playing time with Luke Schenn, Ben Thomas and Cal Foote.

Lankinen will start Monday in Columbus.
The Oilers have acquired Dmitry Kulikov from the Devils for a conditional fourth-round draft pick.
Kulikov provides almost nothing offensively but is a solid shutdown defenseman who can slot onto the Oilers' second pairing. The 6-foot-1, 204 lbs. Russian will likely replace Kris Russell in the top-4 and skate with Adam Larsson.
Robertson will draw into the Maple Leafs lineup on Monday.
Robertson has played a total of 2:20 TOI at the NHL level this season, getting hurt in the season opener. He's been in the AHL, where he's scored three goals and seven assists (10 points) in 14 games. Robertson will skate on the fourth line on Monday.

The Canucks have acquired Matthew Highmore from the Blackhawks for Adam Gaudette.
Highmore turned himself into an undrafted NHL player after five years in the QMJHL and 97 AHL games. Still, he doesn't project to be anything more than bottom-6 winger at best.

This seems like odd timing to trade Gaudette if you're the Canucks. Gaudette had a solid 2020 campaign, posting 33 points (12G / 21A) in 59 games but they've sold low on him, with him picking up just seven points (4G / 3A) in 33 games. Gaudette has some offensive upside but has been tough to trust in his own end. For the Blackhawks, it's a very low-risk investment.
Waiver Move
The Stars have claimed Sami Vatanen off of waivers from the Devils.
Vatanen had two goals and four assists (six points) in 30 games with the Devils this season. With Jonas Siegenthaler acquired from the Capitals on Sunday, Vatanen was waived on Sunday. Dallas claiming him off of waivers could be anticipation of trading a defenseman like Mark Pysyk or Jamie Oleksiak later today.
Waiver Move
The Senators have claimed Victor Mete off of waivers from the Canadiens.
Mete was a fourth-round pick of the Canadiens in 2016 and has picked up 34 points (4G / 30A) in 185 games since. Mete had a tough time finding a permanent spot on Montreal's blueline this season and was waived to make room for Jon Merrill on Sunday. Mete will not have the same difficulty finding playing time in Ottawa.
Fiala (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Fiala missed Saturday's game in St. Louis but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and is a game-time decision vs. the Blues. Fiala hasn't been as productive as 2020 but has 14 goals and 11 assists (25 points) in 36 games.
