Hellebuyck will start Tuesday against the Islanders.

Hellebuyck gave up three goals on 19 shots in the Jets win in New York on Sunday. Hellebuyck has really struggled as of late, allowing at least three goals in six straight games—in total he has given up a combined 21 goals on 152 shots (.862 SV%). To make matters worse, Hellebuyck comes into Tuesday at 4-4-0 with a 3.16 GAA and .903 SV% on the road this year.

Connor Hellebuyck
Price will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Price surrendered three goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Sharks on Sunday. Price started on back-to-back nights after ending a four-game slide with a win on Saturday. Dating back to the start of November, Price is 39th among qualified starters in GAA (3.61) and 38th in SV% (.888).

Carey Price
DeSmith will start Tuesday vs. the Avalanche.

DeSmith allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Penguins loss to the Flyers on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for DeSmith, who comes into Tuesday’s game at 4-1-2 with a 2.44 GAA, .925 SV% and one shutout on home-ice this season. DeSmith will be in tough against the hottest team in the NHL—the Avs have gone 9-0-2 in their last 11 games.

Casey DeSmith
Mantha is out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury.

Mantha will miss Tuesday’s game against the Lightning with an undisclosed injury but GM Ken Holland said the winger could possibly be out long-term. Mantha will be re-evaluated later in the day and the Red Wings should provide more details on the nature of the injury. With Mantha out, rookie Michael Rasmussen could take on an expanded role but this injury is devastating for a Red Wings team that was playing better than most people expected.

Anthony Mantha
Greiss will start Tuesday vs. the Jets.

Greiss turned away 28 of the Blue Jackets 30 shots in the Islanders win on Saturday. Greiss has now won three of his last four starts and is tied for seventh in wins (7) and tied for 14th in both GAA (2.49) and SV% (.922) among qualified starters going back to the start of November. As good as Greiss has been this season, he draws a tough matchup with the Jets in town. However, Winnipeg is just 7-5-0 on the road.

Thomas Greiss
Howard is in the starter's crease at the Red Wings morning skate.

Howard allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Red Wings win in Boston on Saturday. Howard has won his last two starts while stopping 71 of 76 shots (.934 SV%). Since October 30th, Howard is tied for fifth in wins (8), tied for seventh in SV% (.931) and 13th in GAA (2.37). Howie has been great but makes for a great sell-high candidate and should probably left on the bench with the Lightning in town.

Jimmy Howard
Luongo (knee) will be a game-time decision to start Tuesday's game vs. the Bruins.

Luongo has missed the last five games with a knee injury but has a chance to start on Tuesday. Luongo is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game, so monitor his status when the Panthers hit the ice for pre-game warmups. The veteran netminder has gone 2-0-0 while allowing just three goals on 58 shots (.948 SV%) in two games on home-ice this season.

Roberto Luongo
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Predators win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. Tonight he makes his fifth straight start on home-ice, having gone 8-2-0 with a 1.81 GAA, .932 SV% and two shutouts in his previous 10 starts at Bridgestone Arena. Tonight he will go head-to-head with his former backup Carter Hutton.

Pekka Rinne
Raanta (lower-body) participated in practice on Monday.

Raanta has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but could be back between the pipes on Tuesday. With Adin Hill performing extremely well in Raanta’s absence, the Coyotes will likely elect to stick with the hot hand and give Raanta an extra couple of days.

Antti Raanta
Schwartz is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Schwartz has been out since November 16th and remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Schwartz was recently joined by Alex Steen and Robby Fabbri as injured Blues forwards, so Jordan Nolan and Jordan Kyrou were called up from San Antonio (AHL).
