Pacioretty has been absolutely red-hot as of late, scoring eight goals with three assists (11 points) in his last eight games. Pacioretty is fighting a sickness and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game vs. the Capitals. Keep an eye on his status as the Golden Knights hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 pm.
Goldobin will be scratched on Tuesday because “he needs a reset” according to head coach Travis Green. Goldobin has just one assist in his last five games.
Beagle has been out since October 13th but will be back on the Canucks fourth line on Tuesday. Beagle had just one assist in five games before getting injured.
Lewis has been out since November 13th and is expected to miss at least a couple more weeks after suffering a setback. The Kings recently added Nikita Scherbak and Brendan Leipsic, so their Kings bottom-6 will be O.K. without Lewis.
Dubnyk gave up four goals on 22 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Dubnyk has given up four goals in four consecutive games and allowed a combined 19 goals on 120 shots (.842 SV%) in his last five outings (0-4-0). He has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .895 SV% in his first two starts against the Canucks this season.
Nilsson allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Canucks loss to the Stars on Saturday. Since returning to the Canucks crease, Nilsson has stopped 45 of 51 shots (.882 SV%) to lose both games. On the season, Nilsson is 3-5-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .905 SV%. Despite the rough season, Nilsson takes on a Wild team that has lost three in a row and five of their last seven.
Barrie has missed the last four games but will play Tuesday in Pittsburgh. Mark Alt is expected to be a healthy scratch with Barrie back in. Barrie has 20 points (3G / 17A), a plus-13 rating and 53 shots on goal in 23 games this season.
Holtby gave up six goals on 25 shots in the Capitals loss to the Ducks on Sunday. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Holtby, who will face the Golden Knights for the first time since the Stanley Cup Finals. Holtby is 3-2-1 with a 3.16 GAA and .907 SV% on the road this season.
Varlamov stopped all 24 of the Red Wings shots in Colorado’s 2-0 shutout win in Detroit on Sunday. Varlamov has been fantastic, winning six of his last seven (6-0-1) with a 1.83 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout. The 30-year-old has been great on the road too, going 6-3-1 with a 2.21 GAA and .932 SV% in 10 starts.
Fleury allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Golden Knights loss in Edmonton on Saturday. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Fleury, who returns to Vegas tonight. In 11 starts on home-ice this season, Fleury has gone 7-3-1 with a 1.80 GAA, .935 SV% and four(!!!) shutouts.
Hutchinson came up to serve as James Reimer’s backup while Roberto Luongo was out. With Luongo set to return on Tuesday, Hutchinson heads back to the AHL.
Rempal has had a nice season in Ontario, leading the team with 20 points (8G / 12A) in 14 games but has no points in seven games with the Kings. Los Angeles claimed Brendan Leipsic off of waivers on Monday, taking Rempal’s spot on the roster.
Pominville missed Monday’s game but said that he planned to play on Tuesday. However, head coach Phil Housley said that Pominville is still day-to-day, suggesting that he won’t play vs. the Maple Leafs.
Sheary has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but is expected to be back in the lineup against the Maple Leafs. Sheary is still listed as a game-time decision but is expected to play. Sheary has 12 points (6G / 6A) in 24 games this season.
Quick stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. It was a great way to win his first game of the season and will hopefully get the veteran netminder back on-track. Quick has now stopped 65 of the 68 shots (.956 SV%) that he has faced since returning from his knee injury.
Lemieux was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Andrew Copp in the lineup on Tuesday. Lemieux has a disastrous 39.2 CorsiFor% and -11.4 CF%rel in 12 games this season. He has just one goal on seven shots while averaging just 5:44 TOI/gm.

Mantha broke his had in a fight with Patrik Nemeth on Sunday and will miss at least one month. With Mantha out, Gustav Nyquist will move to the top-line on Tuesday and Luke Witkowski will dress as a seventh defenseman.
