Hellebuyck will start Monday in Toronto.

Hellebuyck gave up three goals on 26 shots in the Jets' overtime win over the Flames last Thursday. The Jets had a long break between their first and second game, so Hellebuyck could see three or four starts during the Jets' five-game week. In two starts vs. the Maple Leafs in 2020, Hellebuyck surrendered eight goals on 45 shots (.822 SV%).

Connor Hellebuyck
Dubnyk will start Monday in St. Louis.

Dubnyk stopped the only two shots that he faced in relief of Martin Jones on Saturday. With Jones struggling in Arizona, Dubnyk will make his Sharks debut tonight in St. Louis. Dubnyk was 12-15-2 with an ugly 3.35 GAA and .890 SV% playing behind one of the best defensive teams a season ago, so he could struggle with a looser Sharks team in front of him.

Devan Dubnyk
Laine (upper-body) will not play Monday in Toronto.

Laine was banged up in Sunday's practice and will not be available tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. This is a tough blow for Laine, who had a red-hot start to the season, scoring two goals with one assist in the season opener. With Laine out, Jansen Harkins will make his season debut.

Patrik Laine
Markstrom will start Monday vs. the Canucks.

Markstrom stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Flames’ shutout win over the Canucks on Saturday. It was Markstrom’s first win with the Flames and an impressive showing vs. his former team. He will get another chance tonight but the Canucks should be a little more dangerous with J.T. Miller returning from the COVID-19 reserve list.

Jacob Markstrom
Koskinen will start Monday vs. the Canadiens.

Koskinen gave up five goals on 36 shots in the Oilers’ loss to Montreal on Saturday. With no other NHL-calibre netminder on the roster, the Oilers will ride Koskinen heavily for the foreseeable future. He sandwiched one great outing between two ugly starts but will make his fourth consecutive start Monday. Montreal has scored nine goals in their first two games, so there are better options on Monday’s busy slate.

Mikko Koskinen
Lehtonen will make his NHL debut on Monday, dressing as a seventh defenseman.

With Nick Robertson out for a few weeks at least, the Maple Leafs will dress seven defensemen Monday vs. the Jets. Lehtonen played last year and the start of this year in KHL, where he had 25 goals and 41 assists (66 points) in 77 games. Although it was not confirmed, Lehtonen figures to see some reps on the second power-play unit.

Mikko Lehtonen
Studnicka will be back in the Bruins lineup on Monday.

Studnicka played 11:40 TOI in the season opener but was a healthy scratch on Saturday. With Ondrej Kase getting hurt on Saturday, Studnicka will draw into the Bruins lineup on Monday and is expected to skate on the second line with David Krejci and Nick Ritchie.

Jack Studnicka
Binnington will start Monday vs. the Sharks.

Binnington was yanked after allowing four goals on 24 shots in the Blues' 8-0 loss in Colorado last Friday. It was an ugly outing for the entire team but the Blues will go right back to their No.1 netminder tonight vs. the Sharks. In his only start vs. the Sharks in 2020, Binnington stopped 27 of 29 shots in a winning effort.

Jordan Binnington
Rinne is expected to start Monday vs. the Hurricanes.

Juuse Saros started the first two games of the season but it looks like Juuse Saros will make his season debut tonight vs. the Hurricanes. The 38-year-old netminder was 10-8-3 with a 3.30 GAA and .888 SV% on home-ice last year and faces a Hurricanes team coming off of an ugly loss in Detroit on Saturday.

Pekka Rinne
Nielsen will draw into the Red Wings lineup on Monday.

Nielsen will re-enter the lineup for Adam Erne after sitting as a healthy scratch Saturday vs. the Hurricanes. Erne was placed on the COVID-19 protocol list, so Nielsen could be in the lineup for a couple of games at least.

Frans Nielsen
Rasmussen will draw into the Red Wings lineup on Monday afternoon.

With Robby Fabbri out because of COVID-19 protocol, Rasmussen will make his season debut on Monday afternoon. Rasmussen will centre Detroit's second line and comes in after picking up 18 points (5G / 13A) in 18 games with Graz EC during his COVID loan in the Austria's top league.

Michael Rasmussen
Greiss led the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Greiss stopped 40 of 42 shots in the Red Wings' loss to the Hurricanes on opening night. It was a terrific debut for Greiss, who kept the Red Wings in it while they were being dominated. Jonathan Bernier started Game 2 but they will come back to Greiss on their Monday matinee. In his second start, he'll face a Blue Jackets team that is 0-2-0 to start the season, scoring just three goals in their two games in Nashville.
