The Predators have recalled Eeli Tolvanen from Milwaukee (AHL).
Tolvanen has registered 11 points (4G / 7A) in 21 games with the Admirals this season. The former first-round pick has been recalled to try and spark a Predators offence that was shutout on Thursday and is without Kyle Turris and Viktor Arvidsson.

Dubnyk gave up four goals on 29 shots in the Wild’s loss in Columbus on Thursday. Dubnyk has stumbled as of late, losing four in a row while posting a 3.96 GAA and .847 SV%. Things don’t get any easier tonight with the Maple Leafs in town. Toronto comes in averaging the third most goals per game (3.58) in the NHL and just got Auston Matthews back on Wednesday.

Greiss was the first goalie off of the ice at the Islanders morning skate.
Greiss allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Islanders loss to the Capitals on Monday. Lehner performed well in Boston on Thursday but it looks like Greiss will go tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Greiss was 6-2-1 with a 2.55 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout in November and now ranks 11th in the NHL in SV% (.925) for the season.

Koskinen starts Saturday vs. the Golden Knights.
Koskinen allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Oilers win over the Kings on Thursday. Koskinen has won two in a row and three of his last four while stopping 103 of the 110 shots he faced (.936 SV%). Koskinen is also undefeated on home-ice, going 4-0-0 with a 1.08 GAA, .965 SV% and two shutouts.

Bishop will start Saturday afternoon in Vancouver.
Bishop gave up one goal on 13 shots before leaving the Stars game in New York on November 19th. Bishop ended up missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but returns to the crease this afternoon. The 32-year-old is 3-3-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .919 SV% in seven road starts this season.

Kovalchuk (ankle) is day-to-day and won't play on Friday.
Lindholm (lower-body) has been activated from IR and is expected to play Friday.

Elie was in the lineup for the last three games but will sit with Patrik Berglund returning from an upper-body injury.

Holtby stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Capitals win against the Islanders on Monday. Since returning to the Capitals crease, Holtby has gone 4-0-0 while stopping 122 of the 126 shots (.968 SV%) that he has faced. This will be his first start against New Jersey and 12th at Capital One Arena—he is 6-3-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .922 SV% on home-ice.
McCabe is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
McCabe will come out of the lineup in the tail-end of a back-to-back because of an upper-body injury that he suffered in Tampa Bay last night. Lawrence Pilut will make his NHL debut in McCabe’s place.
Pilut will make his NHL debut on Friday.
Pilut is a 22-year-old Swedish defenseman who has picked up 22 points (3G / 19A) in 16 games with Rochester (AHL) before being recalled to the NHL. Pilut is replacing Jake McCabe tonight and could make for an intriguing punt play in daily fantasy.

Ullmark will start Friday in Florida.
Ullmark allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Sabres win in Detroit last Saturday. Ullmark has won two in a row and has five wins in seven games while posting a 2.52 GAA and .926 SV% this season. Tonight he faces a Panthers team that 1-3-1 while averaging 2.80 goals for per game since Vincent Trocheck got hurt.
The Sabres have placed Conor Sheary (upper-body) on IR.
Sheary has will miss his third straight game on Friday and will be forced to miss next Monday’s game in Nashville as well after being moved to IR. His movement to IR opened up a roster spot for the Sabres to activate Patrik Berglund.

Lindholm has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but took line rushes with Brandon Montour at the Ducks morning skate. There is no official word whether Lindholm will be back in the lineup or not, so consider him as a game-time decision for now.

Schmaltz has picked up just two assists in 17 games this season and will come out of the lineup on Friday with Robert Bortuzzo back in for the first time since October 20th.
