The Ducks have recalled Jared Coreau from San Diego (AHL).

With Ryan Miller leaving Sunday’s game with a lower-body injury, Comeau comes up to be John Gibson’s backup. The former Red Wings netminde has gone 3-6-1 with a 3.66 GAA and .895 SV% in 12 games with San Diego this season. He likely won’t see any NHL action unless Miller is forced to miss an extended period of time.

Koskinen will start Tuesday in Edmonton.

Koskinen stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Oilers shutout win over the Flames on Sunday. Korpisalo has been excellent this season, ranking second in the NHL in GAA (2.06) and tied for third in SV% (.929). As good as he has been, Koskinen will be in tough on the road in Colorado.

Jones will start Monday vs. the Devils.

Jones allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Sharks loss in Dallas on Friday. Aaron Dell started Saturday, so the Sharks will come back to Jones on Monday. The 28-year-old has gone 7-2-2 with a 2.73 GAA and .904 SV% in 11 starts in San Jose. He is a great option with the Devils in town on the tail-end of a back-to-back—New Jersey has lost seven of their last eight (1-3-4).

The Golden Knights have sent Reid Duke to Chicago (AHL).

Duke, 22, did not make his NHL debut during his call-up and heads back to the AHL, where he has 13 points (6G / 7A) in 22 games. Duke’s return to the AHL suggests that Paul Stastny will be back this week.

The Senators have recalled Stefan Elliott from Belleville (AHL).

Elliott was recently acquired via trade from Pittsburgh and has played three games with Belleville since. Overall, Elliott has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 23 AHL games this season. The 27-year-old has 24 points (8G / 16A) in 84 career NHL games with the Avalanche, Coyotes and Predators.

DeSmith will start Monday against the Islanders.

DeSmith allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Penguins loss in Ottawa on Saturday. DeSmith has not allowed more than three goals in seven straight starts, going 5-1-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .923 SV% in the process. In 64 minutes of hockey against the Islanders, DeSmith has stopped 36 of the 40 shots (.900 SV%) that he has faced.

Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick made 29 saves on 30 shots in the Kings win over the Golden Knights on Saturday. Quick has started five games since returning from a knee injury and he has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.23 GAA, .928 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Red Wings team that is tied for the most points since late-October—Detroit is 12-6-2 while averaging 3.25 goals for per game in their last 20.

Martinez (upper-body) did not travel on the Kings four-game road-trip.

Martinez was banged up in the Kings game against the Golden Knights on Saturday and will not be in the lineup on Monday. Martinez could always join the team on the trip but for now expect him to miss at least the next four games. Paul LaDue will like draw into the lineup and replace him in Detroit.

Daley (lower-body) will be back in the Red Wings lineup on Monday.

Daley has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but will draw back into the lineup vs. the Kings. Offensively, it has been quiet year for Daley, picking up just five points (1G / 4A) in 21 games. He’s expected to replace Luke Witkowski in the lineup.

Lehner will start Monday vs. the Penguins.

Lehner missed two games with a minor undisclosed injury but served as Thomas Greiss’ backup over the weekend. Lehner was impressive in his last outing, stopping 35 of the Bruins’ 36 shots in a shootout loss on November 29th. Lehner was forced to leave his first start vs. the Penguins but made 23 saves on 25 shots in the first two periods. He is 1-0-1 with a 2.36 GAA and .933 SV% on home-ice.

Domingue will start Monday vs. the Rangers.

Domingue allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Domingue continues to get the job done with Andrei Vasilevskiy out. Domingue is riding a five-game winning streak, posting an impressive 2.38 GAA and .915 SV% in the process. The 26-year-old is also 7-1-0 on home-ice this season and a must-start against the Rangers.
