Rinne allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Predators shootout win in New Hersey on Thursday. Rinne was inconsistent in January, going 4-4-0 with a 3.12 GAA and .900 SV% in eight starts. In his first start vs. the Golden Knights, Rinne stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 5-2 win in mid-October.

Grubauer allowed three goals on 24 shots in Colorado's win over the Blues on January 18th. Grubauer won both of his starts before the bye week, stopping 48 of the last 51 shots (.941 SV%) that he's faced. He's gone 6-5-2 with a 2.76 GAA and .915 SV% on the road but will see a Flyers team that played last night and will start Alex Lyon in the opposite crease.

Kivlenieks stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Blue Jackets win in New York on January 19th. It was a fantastic NHL debut for the 23-year-old, who draws a great matchup today in Buffalo. Kivlenieks has gone 9-7-2 with a 2.91 GAA and .903 SV% in 18 AHL games this season and gets set to face a Sabres team that has lost three in a row.

Hutton allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. He is still searching for his first win since October 22nd but it was a solid outing for the veteran. This afternoon he faces a Columbus team that has won six in a row while outscoring their opponents 20-to-6.

Schaller has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Tim Schaller (shoulder) in the lineup against the Islanders. Schaller has four goals and one assist in n45 games this season.

Motte was injured in San Jose on Wednesday and was sent back to Vancouver to be re-evaluated. Upon further evaluation, it was determined that Motte will miss at least one month with a shoulder issue. Tim Schaller will draw into the lineup to replace him on Saturday.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Canucks win in San Jose on Wednesday. Markstrom has been terrific since the middle of December, going 10-2-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .921 SV% in his last 12 outings. He'll look to stay hot against an Islanders team that has lost five of their last seven (2-3-2) while scoring 3.29 goals per game.

Domingue allowed two goals on 15 shots in a relief effort in the Devils 5-2 loss to the Capitals on January 16th. Since joining the Devils, Domingue has gone 3-5-0 with a 3.66 GAA and .883 SV% in 11 games (nine starts). Tonight he faces a Stars team that has gone 6-4-0 while scoring just 2.40 goals per game in their last 10.

Neal was a late scratch from Friday's lineup with a foot injury and is listed as day-to-day. Josh Archibald moved to the top-line on Friday but Tyler Benson could make his NHL debut to replace Neal on Saturday.


Hogberg allowed three goals on 53 shots in the Senators loss to New Jersey on Monday. Hogberg has been super busy in his last two games, facing a combined 96 shots, stopping 90 of them for a .947 SV%. He'll likely have his hands full again on Friday with a red-hot Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals in town.

Raanta allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Coyotes loss in Anaheim on Wednesday. Raanta has struggled mightily as of late, losing three in a row while allowing a combined 13 goals on 78 shots (.833 SV%). Tonight he'll try and get back on track against the team that he started his NHL career with. The Blackhawks went into their bye week as winners of five of their last six while scoring 4.17 goals per game.

Steen was forced to leave Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury but will be available on Friday. After posting just five points (all assists) in his first 24 games of the season, Steen has started to heat up, scoring five goals with five assists (10 points) in his last 11.

Panarin missed the final game before the All-Star break but will play tonight vs. the Red Wings. Panarin has been terrific this season, scoring 26 goals with 42 assists (68 points) in 47 games.
