Suomela missed Saturday's game in Arizona due to an upper-body injury that he suffered on Friday. Suomela was not on the ice for practice on Monday and he does not have a timetable for his return.
Hornqvist took a tumble in Monday's practice and will miss an extended period of time with a lower-body injury. The Penguins can't catch a break on the injury front and Hornqvist's injury likely led to the signing of Stefan Noesen on Monday.
Kinkaid had a terrible start to his Canadiens' career, going 1-1-3 with a 4.24 and .875 SV% in six appearances. With two quality goaltending prospects in the AHL, he was waived and will not split time with Charlie Lindgren with Laval after clearing waivers on Tuesday afternoon.
Kulikov was hurt last Friday in Anaheim and will miss at least 7-8 weeks with an upper-body injury. With Kulikov out, Anthony Bitetto/Carl Dahlstrom is expected to remain in the Jets lineup moving forward.
Rinne stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Predators' shutout win in Carolina last Friday. Just when it looked like Juuse Saros was taking over as the Predators' starter, Rinne posts a 31-save shutout and will start his 16th game of the season on Tuesday. He has not faced the Lightning this season, but is 6-2-2 with a 2.89 GAA, .890 SV% and two shutouts on home-ice this season.
Hellebuyck stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Jets' shutout win in Anaheim last Friday. He was given Saturday night off but comes into Tuesday looking to build off of a tremendous month of November. He was 8-2-1 with a 1.85 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout last month and is now tied for the NHL lead in Wins (13), second in SV% (.933) and sixth in GAA (2.23) on the season. In his first two starts against the Stars this season, Hellebuyck is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .905 SV%.
Kuemper allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Coyotes loss in Vegas on Friday. Antti Raanta started Saturday but they'll come back to Kuemper in Columbus. November was another great month for Kuemper, who was 5-3-2 with a 2.04 GAA, .937 SV% and two shutouts in 10 games. Kuemper leads the NHL in GAA (1.97) and SV% (.935) so you can't bench him regardless of the matchup.
Price allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens' loss in Boston on Sunday. Price played a lot better than in recent games but still lost his sixth straight game with a 4.90 GAA and .840 SV%. Those numbers are horrendous but tonight Montreal hosts an Islanders team that played in Detroit last night and are 2-2-1 while scoring just 1.60 goals per game in their last five games.

Kahkonen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Wild's win in New Jersey in his NHL debut last Tuesday. The 23-year-old was 7-2-1 with a 2.47 GAA and .909 SV% when he was called-up, so he should continue to be a decent option while Devan Dubnyk is out. With that said, the Panthers have won four of their last five home games while scoring 3.80 goals per game, so it's not a great matchup for career start No.2.
Rask was a healthy scratch on Sunday but will replace Ryan Donato on Tuesday. Rask has two goals and two assists (four points) in 17 games this season.
Donato has appeared in 25 of 27 games this season but will be replaced by Victor Rask on Tuesday. Donato has picked up two goals and one assist in his last four games.
Turris has been a healthy scratch for the last seven games but is expected to replace Daniel Carr in the lineup on Tuesday. Turris centred the second line in Monday's practice, so he'll go from healthy scratch to top-6 right away. Turris has played well in the top-6 but has obviously had a tough time in the bottom-6. Overall, he has nine points (4G / 5A) in 19 games this season.
Halak allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Bruins win over the Rangers last Friday. Halak has won each of his last two starts while stopping 62 of 65 shots (.954 SV%) and finished November at 3-0-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .940 SV%. The Bruins rarely lose so it's hard to bench Halak, but the Hurricanes come in having won five of their last six road games while scoring 3.33 goals per game.
Hudon has played in eight straight games but will be replaced by Matthew Peca on Tuesday night. Hudon has just one assist and a minus-4 rating in eight games this season.
Peca has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 18 games with Laval (AHL) this season and was called up on Monday. He'll take Charles Hudon's spot in the lineup and comes in with 17 points (6G / 11A) in 59 career NHL games.
Lankinen came up to serve as Corey Crawford's backup on Monday but heads back to the AHL with Robin Lehner (illness) likely back on Thursday.
The Maple Leafs are in Philadelphia on Tuesday, so they brought Marincin along with them to serve as an extra defenseman.
Harrington has been a healthy scratch for the last seven games but will be back in the lineup because Zach Werenski is out for at least four weeks with a shoulder injury. The Blue Jackets brought up one of their best D prospects on Monday, so Harrington's grip on the No.6 defenseman role isn't strong.
Bemstrom has appeared in all 26 games this season but will be scratched in favour of Eric Robinson on Monday. Bemstrom had a five-game point streak in early-November but has recorded just one assist in his last six games.
