Bobrovsky is in the starter's crease at the Blue Jackets morning skate.

Bobrovsky surrendered three goals on 25 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Toronto on Monday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Bobrovsky, who will get another crack at the Maple Leafs tonight. He is 5-2-0 with a 1.72 GAA and .945 SV% in seven November starts.

Harpur (back) is expected to return to the Senators lineup on Friday.

Harpur has been out with a back injury since October 20th, but is expected to play Saturday in Dallas. Harpur was a full-participant in Thursday’s practice and is expected to either replace Christan Jaros or sever as the seventh defenseman on Friday.

The Oilers have placed Tobias Rieder (upper-body) on IR.

Rieder has been out since November 13th with an upper-body injury but he was moved to IR to create a roster spot for Chris Wideman, who was acquired from Ottawa on Thursday. Rieder is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

Tobias Rieder
McLeod is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured hand.

McLeod scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday but left the contest after suffering a fractured hand in a fight with Ross Johnston. McLeod was mostly just jamming up the Rangers’ depth chart, so expect his ice-time to be given out to some younger forwards over the next month.

Cody McLeod
The Golden Knights have reassigned Tomas Hyka to Chicago (AHL).

Hyka had just four points (1G / 3A) while averaging just 11:46 TOI/gm in 17 games with the Golden Knights. He heads back to the Wolves, where he had three assists in two games earlier in the year.

Tomas Hyka
The Penguins have recalled Tristan Jarry from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Jarry has gone 4-5-1 with a 2.89 GAA and .909 SV% in 11 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season. With Matt Murray out “longer-term,” Jarry will serve as the primary backup to Casey Desmith and should see the occasional start. The 23-year-old has a 2.78 GAA and .907 SV% in 27 career NHL appearances.

Tristan Jarry
Murray (lower-body) is expected to be out longer-term; was placed on IR.

The Penguins did not provide a timetable for Murray’s return, but expect the young netminder to be out long-term. Murray, who has been struggling this season, has reportedly been dealing with this injury four a couple of weeks. Murray will likely be re-evaluated in a couple of weeks and the Penguins should provide a clearer timetable on his return after that. Tristan Jarry has been recalled to serve as Casey DeSmith’s backup for the time being.

Matt Murray
The Oilers acquired Chris Wideman from the Senators for a 2020 sixth-round pick on Thursday.

Wideman played in just 16 games last season and has appeared in 19 of the Senators first 22 games this season, picking up five points (2G / 3A). He heads to Edmonton where he will fight with Matt Benning, Jason Garrison and Kevin Gravel for playing time.

Chris Wideman
Weber (knee) is expected to make his season debut next Tuesday.

Canadiens head coach Claude Julien said that if things continue as they are, Weber could return next Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes. After Friday, Weber will have missed the first 23 games of the season after undergoing surgery in early-July. Weber had 16 points (6G / 10A) in 26 games last season, giving him 58 points (23G / 35A) in 104 games in two years with Montreal.

Shea Weber
Niemi will start Friday in Buffalo.

Niemi allowed six goals on 43 shots in the Canadiens loss in Edmonton on November 13th. Niemi has played in just six of the Canadiens’ first 22 games this season, but will make his second appearance vs. the Sabres tonight. He allowed four goals on 42 shots in a 4-3 loss in their first meeting.

Antti Niemi
Lundqvist will start Friday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Lundqvist allowed one goal on 17 shots in the Rangers win over the Stars on Monday. Lundqvist was given the night off on Wednesday, so he’ll draw back into the crease this afternoon. Lundqvist has been great in his last eight starts, going 6-1-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .921 SV%. The 36-year-old has struggled on the road though—going 1-3-2 with a 3.53 GAA and .893 SV% in seven starts.

Henrik Lundqvist
Koskinen is expected to start Friday in Anaheim.

Koskinen allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Oilers 4-3 OT win in San Jose on Tuesday. Koskinen will make his third straight start after stopping 55 of 61 shots (.902 SV%) in his previous two outings. He is outplaying Cam Talbot and draws a solid matchup vs. a Ducks team that has lost three of their last four and rank second last in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.17 GF/pg).

Mikko Koskinen
Petersen leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Petersen stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win in St. Louis on Monday. Petersen has been great since coming up from the AHL, going 2-1-0 while stopping 101 of 106 shots (.953 SV%) in three games.
