Korpisalo will start Thursday in St. Louis.

Korpisalo gave up four goals on 41 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Florida on October 11th. Korpisalo has won each of his two starts this season, allowing six goals on the 61 shots (.902 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces his third start against a Blues team that is currently tied for 16th in the NHL in scoring (3.13 GF/PG).

Miller will miss at least four weeks with a hand injury.

Miller has a cast on his hand and will miss at least on month. The Bruins blueline is extremely banged up right now, so Jeremy Lauzon has been called up from Providence (AHL) to make his NHL debut on Thursday. Look for Miller to be back in mid-to-late November.

Elliott will start Thursday in Boston.

Elliott allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Flyers loss to the Avalanche on Monday. The veteran netminder has had rough start to the season, losing five of his first seven starts while posting a 3.59 GAA and .882 SV%. Things don’t get any easier tonight in Boston—the Bruins top line is the most dominant in the NHL and Boston is averaging 3.44 goals per game.

Allen will start Thursday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Allen gave up five goals on 36 shots in the Blues loss in Winnipeg on Monday. Allen had a great outing in Toronto, but struggled in an equally tough matchup in Winnipeg two days later. The 28-year-old comes into Thursday at 1-1-1 with a 4.28 GAA and .854 SV% in three starts on home-ice this season.

Saros is expected to start Thursday in New Jersey.

Saros allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Predators loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. It was Saros’ first loss of the season, but came against one of the toughest opponents in the NHL. Tonight the NHL’s fourth ranked offence in New Jersey, but has gone 3-0-0 wihile allowing just three goals on 69 shots (.957 SV%) on the road this season.

Dubnyk will start Thursday vs. the Kings.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Wild’s win in Dallas last Friday. Dubnyk will be well rested heading into tonight’s game with the Kings. Dubnyk has won his last two starts while stopping 64 of 66 shots (.970 SV%). Los Angeles has played very poorly in recent games, making Dubnyk an intriguing option on a busy night.

The Predators have recalled Rocco Grimaldi from Milwaukee (AHL).

Grimaldi has had a hot-start to the season, leading the Admirals with 11 points (4G / 7A) in eight games this season. Grimaldi will replace Dan Hamhuis on the roster after Hamhuis was placed on IR. Grimaldi has 10 points (5G / 5A) in 37 career NHL games. with the Panthers and Avalanche.

The Flyers have recalled Michal Neuvirth from his conditioning stint with Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Neuvirth has missed the first nine games of the season with a groin injury, but could make his season debut this weekend. Neuvirth allowed three goals on 34 shots in a win with the Phantoms during his conditioning stint.

Hutton will start Thursday vs. the Canadiens.

Hutton allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Sabres win in Anaheim on Sunday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Hutton, who comes into Thursday’s game at 2-2-0 with a 3.07 GAA and .912 SV% on home-ice this season. Tonight he will face a Canadiens team that has surprisingly gone 4-0-1 while averaging 4.00 goals for per game in their last five games.

Baertschi left Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury.

Baertschi played just 6:34 TOI before leaving Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury. Leaving last night’s contest makes Baertschi questionable for Thursday’s game in Arizona. Brock Boeser (groin) may return tonight and replace Baertschi in the lineup.
