After a solid rookie season, Joseph struggled in his first 34 NHL games this season. Since going down to Syracuse, the 23-year-old has scored five goals with nine assists (14 points) in 20 AHL games.

With Seth Jones going on IR with an ankle injury, the Blue Jackets will use that roster spot to bring Carlsson back up. The 23-year-old blueliner has no points in six NHL games this season but has tallied one goal and 10 assists in 39 games with Cleveland.

Jones went crashing hard into the Avalanche net in Saturday's home loss but finished the game, playing 23:25 TOI. However, ahead of their game with the Lightning on Monday, the Blue Jackets announced they'll be without Jones indefinitely. This is obviously a serious blow for Columbus and could change their plans heading into the trade deadline. David Savard seems like a prime candidate to move up to the top pair with Zach Werenski.

Boeser was forced to leave Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and was placed on IR on Sunday. His movement to IR means that he will miss at least two games and the Canucks will re-evaluate him prior to next Sunday’s game vs. the Ducks. The move also opens up a roster spot to call-up reinforcements from Utica (AHL).

With Alexander Wennberg out long-term, the Blue Jackets have been thinned out up the middle. Riley Nash was forced to move up to the third line but their fourth lineup has struggled as a result. The Blue Jackets decided to look past their AHL team and called-up one of their top prospects from the London Knights. Foudy was a first-round pick (No.18 overall) in 2018 and has scored 20 goals with 23 assists (43 points) in 32 OHL games this season. He is expected to make his NHL debut on the Blue Jackets’ third line on Monday. His stay will likely be a short one, at which point he’ll return to the OHL.

Raanta was a late scratch from Saturday’s scheduled start and is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. The Coyotes are having a tough time keeping their goalies healthy. Just as Darcy Kuemper is nearing his return to the crease, an injury pops up for Raanta.

Kuemper has been out since December 19th with a lower-body injury but was a full participant in Sunday’s practice and could be back in the crease on Monday. Kuemper is a game-time decision so monitor his status if the Coyotes have a morning skate if not there should be an update on his status around 5:00 PM ET.

Ekman-Larsson has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but was a full participant in Sunday’s practice. Head coach Rick Tocchet listed him as a game-time decision for Monday’s game in Montreal.

Pulock was forced to leave Saturday’s game late in the third period after being hit by Alex Killorn. Head coach Barry Trotz did not have an update on him postgame, so monitor his status during the Islanders' morning skate on Monday.

Dell surrendered three goals on 31 shots in the Sharks win in Edmonton last Thursday. Since their bye week, Dell has won three of his four starts while posting a 2.02 GAA and .935 SV% and is 7-4-0 with a 2.28 GAA and .928 SV% since January 1st. The 30-year-old is playing great and gets set to face the Flames for the second time in a week. He stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 3-1 win in Calgary last Tuesday.

Francouz allowed three goals on 25 shots in Colorado's win over the Red Wings on January 20th. Philipp Grubauer has started the last four games but Francouz will start the second half of the back-to-back tonight in Minnesota. In his first start vs. the Wild, Francouz gave up five goals on 32 shots in a 6-4 loss.

Prokhorkin was a healthy scratch last night but will be back in the lineup tonight in New York. There's no word who Prokhorkin will replace but he comes in with 13 points (4G / 9A) in 33 games this season.

Quick surrendered four goals on 32 shots in the Kings loss to the Islanders on Thursday. Quick has now given up at least three gaols in five straight games and is 0-6-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .894 SV% in his last seven games. The Rangers have won three of their last five and are strong enough to avoid Quick tonight.

Lauzon hit Stepan up high on Saturday and Stepan was hurt briefly but returned to the game. With Lauzon out, Brandon Carlo (personal) rejoined the team on Sunday played in Detroit.

Boqvist was forced to leave Wednesday's game with a shoulder injury and will not play tonight in Winnipeg. The Blackhawks said that Boqvist could play if he needed to but they will play it safe with the up-and-coming rookie blueliner.

Seeler was recently claimed off of waivers from the Wild and will replace Adam Boqvist, who is day-to-day with a shoulder injury. Seeler has 11 points (2G / 9A) in 99 career NHL games (all with Minnesota).

Nylander has played in 11 straight games but Matthew Highmore will replace him in the lineup in Winnipeg. In those 11 games, Nylander had one goal and two assists.

Highmore has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Alex Nylander in the lineup on Sunday. Highmore has one goal and two assists in 19 games this season.

Carter Hutton is dealing with a family matter so Hammond will come up and serve as Jonas Johansson's backup vs. the Ducks.
