The Golden Knights have recalled Nic Roy from Chicago (AHL).
Roy returns to the NHL because Vegas starts a four-game road-trip on Tuesday but also because Alex Tuch was hurt in their last game. Roy, who scored a goal in his season debut (Oct.27), would likely take Tuch's spot in the lineup if he can't play in Columbus. During his time in the AHL, the 22-year-old centre has picked up just one assist in seven games.
The Golden Knights have recalled Nic Hague from Chicago (AHL).
Vegas is set to start a four-game road-trip on Tuesday so Hague and Nic Roy come up from the AHL as reserves. For Hague, he has appeared in eight games with Vegas this season, tallying two assists, nine shots and seven hits while playing 14:59 ATOI. With Nate Schmidt back on the blueline, it may be difficult for the young defenseman to get into the lineup on this trip.

Nilsson will start Monday in New York.
Nilsson was pulled after he gave up four goals on 16 shots in the Senators' loss to the Islanders on October 25th. Craig Anderson started the last two games but Nilsson will get the call in New York. Prior to his last start, Nilsson had posted a .955 SV% in his previous three starts, but he's been wildly inconsistent throughout his career and is very difficult to trust. On the flip side, the Rangers come in having won three of four while averaging 4.00 goals per game.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
