Stepan suffered what was described as a "freak" hand injury in Monday's practice and will be a game-time decision in Florida. If Stepan can't go, look for Michael Grabner to draw back into the Coyotes lineup.

It was an easy outing for Crawford, who won his first game since December 6th, ending a four-game personal losing streak. With Robin Lehner still out, he will make his second straight start and 13th on home-ice, where he's gone 5-7-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .905 SV%. He'll face a Flames team that has won six of their last seven (6-1-0) road games while scoring 4.00 goals per game.

Hill gave up two goals on 12 shots in relief of Antti Raanta in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Flyers. With both Raanta and Darcy Kuemper dealing with injuries, Hill becomes the Coyotes' temporary No.1 netminder and comes in at 8-8-0 with a 2.89 GAA and .901 SV% in 19 career NHL appearances. He was 9-3-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 12 AHL games at the time that he was called-up.

Pilut appeared in 33 NHL games last season but has spent the entire 2019-20 season in the AHL so far. The 24-year-old defenseman has picked up 21 points (5G / 16A) in 29 games with Rochester.

There is no word if Devan Dubnyk or Alex Stalock are dealing with injuries but it could be related to the personal reasons that forced Dubnyk to leave the team earlier in the year. The 23-year-old Kahkonen has gone 13-3-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .906 SV% in 17 AHL games this season.
