Gillies was the first goalie off of the ice at the Flames morning skate.

Gillies allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Flames loss to the Rangers on Friday. Gillies has won two of his last four starts while posting a 2.04 GAA and .933 SV%. Despite a stretch of strong play from the 24-year-old, he will be in tough tonight in Pittsburgh—the Penguins are 24-8-1 on home-ice.

Rittich allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Flames loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Rittich has now lost his last four starts while allowing a combined 17 goals on 106 shots (.840 SV%). The 25-year-old has gone 6-3-2 with a 2.88 GAA and .910 SV% on the road this season and will be in tough in Pittsburgh tonight.

Versteeg (hip) will rehab with Stockton (AHL) this week.

The Flames are on a road-trip so Versteeg will bee with Stockton until the Flames return to Calgary. Versteeg is hoping to get clearance to return to the Flames lineup when they return from the road trip.

The Jets have recalled Steve Mason from his conditioning stint with Manitoba (AHL).

Mason has been sidelined with a concussion since January 9th but completed a one-game conditioning stint with the Moose. He allowed four goals on 22 shots i an overtime win in Manitoba and will join the Jets in New York ahead of Tuesday’s game. Mason has gone 3-6-1 with a 3.52 GAA and .897 SV% in 11 games with the Jets this season.

Jarry stopped 25 of 27 shots in the Penguins overtime win over the Islanders on Saturday. Casey DeSmith was in the starter’s crease this morning, but it looks like Jarry will go tonight vs. the Flames. Jarry suffered an OT loss in his first start vs. Calgary and comes into Monday at 7-2-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .907 SV% on home-ice this season.

DeSmith was pulled after allowing three goals on five shots in the Penguins blowout 8-4 loss in Boston on Thursday. Tristan Jarry started on Saturday, but it looks like DeSmith will be back in for the third time in four games. DeSmith has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .926 SV% on home-ice this season.

Lehtonen is expected to get the nod on Tuesday.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 18 shots after replacing Ben Bishop (lower-body) in last night’s overtime loss to the Senators. Lehtonen has had a good season, but has struggled in his last two outings, allowing a combined seven goals on 39 shots (.821 SV%). The 34-year-old has gone 8-4-1 with a 1.87 GAA and .929 SV% on the road this season.

Bishop will start Monday vs. the Senators.

Bishop allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Stars win over the Blues on Saturday. Bishop has been superb on American Airlines Center ice this season, going 20-8-2 with a 2.15 GAA and .930 SV% in 32 appearances. He is an excellent option to kick-off the week with the 22-32-10 Ottawa Senators in Dallas tonight.

Johnson will start Monday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Johnson stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Sabres win in Tampa Bay last Wednesday. Robin Lehner started on Friday but they’ll come back to Johnson for the third time in four games. Johnson has won his last two starts while stopping 55 of 57 shots (.965 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Maple Leafs in town—however Toronto is riding a three-game losing streak.
