Gillies allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Flames loss to the Rangers on Friday. Gillies has won two of his last four starts while posting a 2.04 GAA and .933 SV%. Despite a stretch of strong play from the 24-year-old, he will be in tough tonight in Pittsburgh—the Penguins are 24-8-1 on home-ice.
Rittich allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Flames loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Rittich has now lost his last four starts while allowing a combined 17 goals on 106 shots (.840 SV%). The 25-year-old has gone 6-3-2 with a 2.88 GAA and .910 SV% on the road this season and will be in tough in Pittsburgh tonight.
Martin has been a healthy scratch since January 22nd but he will be back in tonight vs. the Sabres. The 28-year-old pugilist has three goals, eight assists (11 points) and 45 PIMS in 47 games this season.
Mete was hurt over the weekend and is rookie season is likely over as he is expected to miss six weeks with a fractured finger. Mete never scored a goal and picked up seven assists in 49 games.
Pacioretty suffered the injury against the Islanders on March 2nd and will be out until at least early-April. Pacioretty’s 2017-18 season could potentially be over with 17 goals and 20 assists (37 points) in 64 games.
The Flames are on a road-trip so Versteeg will bee with Stockton until the Flames return to Calgary. Versteeg is hoping to get clearance to return to the Flames lineup when they return from the road trip.
Mason has been sidelined with a concussion since January 9th but completed a one-game conditioning stint with the Moose. He allowed four goals on 22 shots i an overtime win in Manitoba and will join the Jets in New York ahead of Tuesday’s game. Mason has gone 3-6-1 with a 3.52 GAA and .897 SV% in 11 games with the Jets this season.
Jarry stopped 25 of 27 shots in the Penguins overtime win over the Islanders on Saturday. Casey DeSmith was in the starter’s crease this morning, but it looks like Jarry will go tonight vs. the Flames. Jarry suffered an OT loss in his first start vs. Calgary and comes into Monday at 7-2-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .907 SV% on home-ice this season.
DeSmith was pulled after allowing three goals on five shots in the Penguins blowout 8-4 loss in Boston on Thursday. Tristan Jarry started on Saturday, but it looks like DeSmith will be back in for the third time in four games. DeSmith has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .926 SV% on home-ice this season.
Hintz has 15 goals and 12 assists (27 points) in 55 games with Texas this season. It has been a solid rookie season for the Finnish winger, who was picked in the second-round (No.49 overall) in 2015.
Upshall suffered a left MCL sprain on Saturday and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Upshall’s injury means that Nikita Soshnikov (illness) will draw back into the Blues lineup on Thursday.
Bouwmeester will be sidelined for four to six months with a left hip injury, meaning he will miss the final 16 games of the season. It was a a tough season for Bouwmeester, who had just seven points (2G / 5A) in 35 games.
Guhle had one assist in two games with the Sabres earlier this season. He has spent most of the season in the AHL, where he has piled up 24 points (8G / 16A) in 47 contests. He could draw into the Sabres lineup on Monday.
Criscuolo, 25, has had a nice season in Rochester, picking up 15 goals and 19 assists (34 points) in 50 AHL games. He has spent some time with the Sabres, but has not registered a point in eight games.
Lehtonen allowed three goals on 18 shots after replacing Ben Bishop (lower-body) in last night’s overtime loss to the Senators. Lehtonen has had a good season, but has struggled in his last two outings, allowing a combined seven goals on 39 shots (.821 SV%). The 34-year-old has gone 8-4-1 with a 1.87 GAA and .929 SV% on the road this season.
Bishop allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Stars win over the Blues on Saturday. Bishop has been superb on American Airlines Center ice this season, going 20-8-2 with a 2.15 GAA and .930 SV% in 32 appearances. He is an excellent option to kick-off the week with the 22-32-10 Ottawa Senators in Dallas tonight.
Johnson stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Sabres win in Tampa Bay last Wednesday. Robin Lehner started on Friday but they’ll come back to Johnson for the third time in four games. Johnson has won his last two starts while stopping 55 of 57 shots (.965 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Maple Leafs in town—however Toronto is riding a three-game losing streak.
