Michal Neuvirth
Halak will start Thursday vs. the Bruins.

Halak allowed four goals on 42 shots in the Islanders loss to the Devils on Tuesday. Halak was unable to string three straight wins together, something he hasn’t done since late October. Tonight he takes on the Bruins for the third time this season—he is 0-2-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .913 SV% in the first two meetings.

Jaroslav Halak
Kinkaid is in the starter's crease at the Devils morning skate.

Kinkaid allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Devils win in Brooklyn on Tuesday. With Kinkaid having a nice outing, Cory Schneider being under the weather and playing poorly, Kinkaid will start again tonight vs. the Capitals. However, Kinkaid has not been very good this year and his matchup is very poor—Washington comes in having won six of their last seven contests.

Keith Kinkaid
Bailey (lower-body) will return to the Islanders lineup on Thursday.

Bailey missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Bruins. The Islanders went 3-1-0 in four games without Bailey, but he will provide a huge boost to their top line. He returns to the lineup with 50 points (12G / 38A) in 42 games this season, ranking him 11th in the NHL.

Josh Bailey
Oduya (lower-body) is expected to play Thursday vs. the Blues.

Oduya has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but was on the ice for Wednesday’s practice and is expected to be in the lineup tonight. Oduya, who will skate with Erik Karlsson, has two goals and four assists in 37 games this season.

Johnny Oduya
Ryan (hand) is expected to play Thursday vs. the Blues.

Ryan missed the Senators final game before their bye week with a hand injury, but was back on the ice for practice yesterday and is expected to play tonight. Ryan has one goal and three assists in his last six games and has totalled 17 points (5G / 12A) in 32 games this season.

Bobby Ryan
Chlapik will be recalled from Belleville (AHL) and is expected to play on Thursday.

Chlapik has registered two assists in seven games with Ottawa this season and he is expected to replace J-G Pageau in the lineup tonight. The 20-year-old has six goals and 11 assists (17 points) in 31 AHL games.

Filip Chlapik
Pageau (undisclosed) will not be available on Thursday.

Pageau was injured in the Senators final game before their bye week and won’t play tonight vs. the Blues. Pageau took to the ice for Wednesday’s practice but wasn’t able to make it through the session. With Pageau as day-to-day, Filip Chlapik will be recalled from Belleville (AHL) to take his spot in the lineup.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau
Anderson will start Thursday vs. the Blues.

Anderson allowed three goals on 48 shots in the Senators win in Toronto on January 10th. Anderson has won three of his last four starts despite posting an ugly 4.29 GAA and .904 SV%. The 36-year-old netminder is 8-7-3 with a 3.35 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice this season and tonight he faces a Blues team that is 12-8-3 while averaging 2.78 goals for per game on the road this season.

Craig Anderson
Jarry will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Jarry allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Penguins win over the Rangers on Sunday. Jarry has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.15 GAA, .928 SV% and one shutout. Jarry heads into Anaheim at 3-1-2 with a 1.59 GAA and .949 SV% on the road this season.

Price will make his ninth straight start on Wednesday.

Price allowed five goals on 24 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Islanders on Monday. Price comes into Wednesday having lost six of his last eight starts while posting a 2.72 GAA and .919 SV%. This season has not gone well for Price and the Habs. In his first start vs. the Bruins, he allowed three goals on 32 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss.

Carey Price
Rask is projected to start Wednesday vs. the Canadiens.

Rask allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Bruins shootout win in Montreal last Saturday. Anton Khudobin got the nod on Sunday, so they’ll go right back to Rask tonight vs. the Canadiens. Rask continues to play great and tonight he faces a Montreal team that has lost seven of their last nine (2-5-2).

Tuukka Rask
Gibson will start Wednesday vs. the Penguins.

Gibson allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Ducks win in Los Angeles on Saturday. Ryan Miller gave him a breather on Monday, so Gibson will start tonight vs. the Penguins. Gibson comes in having won three of his last five starts (3-1-1) turning aside 129 of the last 138 shots (.935 SV%) that he has faced. He also pitched a 29-save shutout against his hometown Penguins earlier in the season.

John Gibson
The Blue Jackets have recalled Tyler Motte from Cleveland (AHL).

Motte has scored three goals and one assist in 29 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has picked up eight points (6G / 2A) in nine games with Cleveland and will likely play on Thursday after it was announced Sonny Milano will miss 4-6 weeks.
