The Golden Knights have assigned Oscar Dansk to Chicago (AHL).

Dansk has been sidelined since October 30th and was 3-0-0 with a 1.78 GAA, .946 SV% and one shutout in four appearances with the Golden Knights. With Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban both healthy, Dansk will get playing time in Chicago. He allowed six goals on 36 shots in his first game with the Wolves.

The Kings will not hold a morning skate on the tail-end of their back-to-back.

Jonathan Quick was pulled after he allowed five goals on 19 shots in last night’s 6-2 loss to the Canucks. Darcy Kuemper stopped 15 of 16 shots in relief but the Kings’ starter for Wednesday’s game will not be known until they hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Jonathan Quick
Rittich is in the starter's crease at the Flames morning skate.

Rittich allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Flames win in Florida on January 12th. The Flames have a back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday so look for Rittich to start the front-end tonight vs. the Kings. Rittich is 3-0-1 with a 1.71 GAA and .946 SV%. He is an interesting spot-start option for fantasy owners in need.

David Rittich
Raffl left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Raffl played just 10:09 TOI before leaving the Flyers overtime win in Detroit. The Flyers did not have an update on Raffl post-game, but they said that he will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. Consider him questionable for Thursday’s game.

Michael Raffl
Reimer exited Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Reimer was hurt while trying to make a save early in the first period of the Panthers loss to the Stars. The Panthers are already without Roberto Luongo, so if Reimer is going to miss any time the Panthers will turn to Harri Sateri for the time being.

James Reimer
Johansson left Tuesday’s game after being elbowed in the head and did not return.

Johansson took what looked to be a purposeful elbow to the head from Brad Marchand in the third period and had to be attended to by the training staff. Johansson did not return to the game and Marchand will have a hearing for the incident. Johansson likely won’t be available for Thursday’s game but could be ready after the All-Star break.

Marcus Johansson
Schneider left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury.

After allowing three goals on 20 shots in the first two periods, Ken Appleby replace Schneider for the third period of Tuesday’s loss to the Bruins. The Devils are already without Keith Kinkaid (groin) so if Schneider is unavailable for Thursday’s game then look for Appleby to start.

Cory Schneider
The Blue Jackets have signed Nathan Gerbe to a one-year, two-way contract.

Gerbe has been playing in Switzerland for the last two seasons, picking up 13 goals and 22 assists (35 points) in 45 games. Gerbe will be placed on waivers to be sent to Cleveland (AHL). The diminutive forward has 138 points (58G / 80A) in 394 career NHL games with the Sabres and Hurricanes.

Nathan Gerbe
Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings win over the Rangers on Sunday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Quick, who will make his 39th start of the season tonight in Vancouver. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .885 SV% in his first two starts against the Canucks this season.

Jonathan Quick
Saros led the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Saros stopped all 43 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win over the Golden Knights last Tuesday. Pekka Rinne started the last two games, but Saors is expected to see the Lightning tonight. Saros has gone 4-1-2 with a 1.14 GAA, .967 SV% and three shutouts in his last seven starts. Tampa Bay comes in on the tail-end of a back-to-back after a 2-0 win in Chicago last night.

Juuse Saros
Bernier will start Tuesday in Montreal.

Bernier allowed two goals on 31 shots in Colorado’s 4-2 win in Toronto last night. Bernier has won nine in a row and has allowed just 13 goals on the last 290 shots (.955 SV%) over that stretch. Tonight the Avalanche will look to continue their roll in Montreal with a Quebec native between the pipes.

Jonathan Bernier
Hellebuyck will start Tuesday in San Jose.

Hellebuyck stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Jets shutout win over the Canucks on Sunday. Hellebuyck has now won his last two starts and stopped 59 of the last 60 shots (.983 SV%) that he has faced. Hellebuyck has stopped 50 of 52 shots (.962 SV%) in two appearances against the Sharks this season.

Connor Hellebuyck
Mrazek will start Tuesday vs. the Flyers.

Mrazek stopped all 37 shots that he faced in the Red Wings shutout win in New Jersey last night. Mrazek will start for the second straight night and comes in with shutouts in his lat two games—he has stopped the 64 shots he has faced. Mrazek has been up and down this season and doesn’t make for a safe option with a hot Flyers team in town.
