Ullmark is viewed as the Sabres goalie of the future but will go back to Rochester during the Sabres’ bye week and could return after the break. Ullmark could see an extended run with the Sabres if they elect to trade Robin Lehner like they are rumoured to.
Guhle had one assist while averaging 16:58 TOI/GM in two games during his call-up. He is returning to the AHL simply for the Sabres bye week but he appeared to make a case to return to the big club after their break, especially with Zach Bogosian out for at least one month.
Goulbourne, 23, played in his first two NHL games before the Flyers break and returns as they get set to return to action on Saturday. Goulbourne isn’t a huge point producer but will be an effective fourth liner for Philadelphia—he has just 10 points (6G / 4A) in 34 games with the Phantoms this season.
Tanev missed the last two games after taking a puck to the mouth in Toronto last Saturday. Tanev has missed a lot of time due to injuries this season but provides a big boost to the Canucks blueline when he’s in. However, he doesn’t boast the best offensive numbers, having scoring just two goals with four assist in 27 games this season.
