Wallmark was a healthy scratch for the last two games after appearing in two games a week ago. With Lee Stempniak set to make his season debut on Tuesday, Wallamark returns to the AHL, where he has 23 points (7G / 16A) in 20 games.

Wallmark was a healthy scratch for the last two games after appearing in two games a week ago. With Lee Stempniak set to make his season debut on Tuesday, Wallamark returns to the AHL, where he has 23 points (7G / 16A) in 20 games.
Stempniak has yet to play an NHL game this season, but appeared in an AHL conditioning stint but suffered a setback. Stempniak had 16 goals and 24 assists (40 points) in 82 games a season ago and look for him to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.
Thompson missed Saturday’s game vs. the Lightning after getting hurt on Friday and will miss at least two more games. Thompson could be back when the Senators return from their bye week.
Oduya left Saturday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return. Oduya left midway through the third period and is considered questionable for tomorrow’s game—monitor his status in the morning.
Duchene has the flu and is questionable for tomorrow’s game, which is a tough break because he is playing his best hockey since joining the Senators. Duchene had just six points (3G / 3A) in his first 24 games with Ottawa, but had three goals and one assist in two games over the weekend. Monitor Duchene’s status during Tuesday’s morning skate.
Ceci finished Saturday’s game vs. the Lightning, playing 24:01 TOI but he is reportedly dealing with an undisclosed injury. Monitor Ceci’s status during the Senators morning skate on Tuesday.
Anderson allowed three goals on 48 shots in the Senators win over the Lightning on Saturday. It has been a difficult season for Anderson but he had a strong weekend, winning back-to-back starts while stopping 75 of 83 shots (.904 SV%). Tonight he will face a Blackhawks team that has lost five of their last right (3-4-1).
Bobrovsky had a busy night against the Panthers, stopping 42 of 44 shots in the Blue Jackets win last night. It’s not for sure, but it looks like Bobrovsky will go again tonight in Toronto—Bob has turned things around recently, stopping 93 of 98 shots (.949 SV%) in his last three starts (2-1-0).
Dunn has missed the last four games with an illness, but will likely play Tuesday vs. the Panthers. Dunn has been pretty quiet on the Blues back-end this season, picking up just seven points (3G / 4A) in 39 games.
Walman served as the Blues extra defnseman during their brief road-trip. With Vince Dunn (illness) returning from IR, Walman goes back to the Wolves, where he had two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 34 games.
Lettieri, 22, had one goal and one assist in three games during his call-up. With the Rangers getting healthy, Lettieri returns to Hartford, where he has 21 points (12G / 9A) in 31 games this season.
Franson has picked up seven points (1G / 6A) in 23 games with the Blackhawks this season. The right-handed defenseman has a +9.2 relative Corsi this season, the best among all Blackhawks skaters. The emergence of Jordan Oesterle has apparently made Franson expendable. Franson will likely be claimed.
Hayden played just 6:07 TOI on Friday and was a healthy scratch on Saturday, so he will get a chance to continue to work on his game in the AHL. Tomas Jurco has been recalled to take his spot on the roster.
Jurco appeared in 13 games with the Blackhawks last season but has spent all of this season in the AHL so far. The 25-year-old has collected 25 points (13G / 12A) in 36 games with the IceHogs and it looks like he could make his season debut this week.
Luongo has been out since December 4th, missing the last 14 games but head coach Bob Boughner said the hope is that he’ll be back at the beginning of February. This means the Panthers will continue to lean heavily on James Reimer throughout the remainder of January but Luongo should be back for the final 25-to-30 games of the season.
The Hurricanes called Aho day-to-day with a lower-body injury after he left Saturday’s game in Boston early. However, Aho was back on the ice on Monday morning in a full capacity and it looks like he should be good-to-go for the Hurricanes game in Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
Lehner took a shot in the head/neck area during Sunday’s game in Philadelphia, but remained in the game and finished the contest. However, with Linus Ullmark being recalled this morning and Lehner missing today’s practice, it seems likely that the Sabres’ No.1 won’t be available on Tuesday.
Ullmark has enjoyed a lot of success at the AHL level this season, going 17-5-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .928 SV% in 26 starts with the Americans. There isn’t believed to be any injuries to either Robin Lehner or Chad Johnson so Ullmark’s call-up is a bit of a head scratcher unless they have something in the works.
Guhle, 20, has had a nice campaign in the AHL so far, collecting seven goals and 13 assists (20 points) in 35 games. There’s no word why Guhle has been recalled, but if he plays on Tuesday it will be his season debut and his fourth career NHL appearance.
Andersen allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Maple Leafs shootout win over the Canucks on Saturday. Aside from a rough outing in Vegas, Andersen has played well as of late, winning five of his last six starts with a 2.53 GAA and .924 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Blue Jackets, who appear to have rebounded after hitting a rough patch in late-December.
