With Micheal Frolik (broken jaw) going on IR, Mangiapane has been recalled after recording 14 goals and 19 assists (33 points) in 29 games with Stockton.
Frolik suffered the broken jaw in San Jose on Thursday and will be out week-to-week after undergoing successful surgery. With Frolik out, Andrew Mangiapane has been recalled from Stockton (AHL).
Mantha was on the ice for the Red Wings morning skate and said that he is feeling better, but won't play tonight. Mantha is hopeful that he will return on Wednesday and his absence tonight means Tyler Bertuzzi will remain on the top line.

Vasilevskiy one goal on 32 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Canadiens on Thursday. He stopped all four shots he faced after replacing the injured Peter Budaj vs. Philly and will start his 31st game of the season tonight. Vasilevskiy has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .948 SV% in his first two starts against the Blue Jackets this season.
