Vatanen will make his Devils debut on Friday.

After being acquired for Adam Henrique, Joseph Blandisi and a third round pick on Thursday, Vatanen will immediately draw in on the top pair and top power play unit in Colorado tonight. Vatanen will take Steven Santini's spot with Andy Greene and will quarterback the top unit with Will Butcher. Vatanen has one goal, three assists and 22 shots on goal in 15 games this season.

Sami Vatanen
Kinkaid will start Saturday in Arizona.

Kinkaid allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Devils’ win in Detroit last Saturday. With Cory Schneider starting last night, Kinkaid will make his seventh start of the season tonight in Arizona. The 28-year-old has gone 5-1-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .906 SV% this season and draws a nice matchup in the desert tonight.

Keith Kinkaid
O’Regan will be a healthy scratch on Friday.

O’Regan has registered two assists in six games since being called up from San Jose (AHL), but will be a healthy scratch tonight in Florida. Ryan Carpenter will take O’Regan’s spot on the fourth line and Mikkel Boedker may see some PP time with O’Regan out.

Daniel O'Regan
Lundqvist is expected to start Friday vs. the Hurricanes.

Lundqvist was pulled after he gave up three goals on six shots in the Rangers’ loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. The rough outing snapped a nice four-game winning streak for Lundqvist, who is expected to make his 23rd start of the season tonight. In his first start vs. the Hurricanes, Lundqvist stopped 32 of 33 shots in a 6-1 win in Carolina.

Henrik Lundqvist
Lehner will start Friday vs. the Penguins.

Lehner allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Sabres’ loss to the Lightning on Tuesday. November was not the best month for Lehner, who went 3-7-1 with a 3.01 GAA and .903 SV% in 10 starts and one relief appearance. In his first start against the Penguins, Lehner allowed five goals on 45 shots in a 5-4 overtime loss.

Robin Lehner
Frk (groin) is ready to return to the Red Wings lineup on Saturday.

Frk has missed the last eight games with a groin injury but is set to return to the lineup on Saturday. Because he’s healthy doesn’t guarantee he will be back in the lineup with Jeff Blashill behind the bench, but look for the Red Wings to go back to a traditional 12 forward, six defenseman look if he plays.

Martin Frk
The Sabres have sent Matt Tennyson to Rochester (AHL).

Tennyson failed to record a point in 14 games with the Sabres this season, but with Zach Bogosian set to make his season debut on Friday, Tennyson heads to the AHL. Tennyson had seven points (3G / 4A) in nine games the last time he was in the AHL (2016-17).

Matt Tennyson
Khudobin will start Monday in Nashville.

Khudobin allowed three goals on 20 shots i the Bruins win over the Penguins on November 24th. Despite riding a four-game winning streak, the Bruins went back to Tuukka Rask for the last three games but Khudobin will start tonight in Nashville. During his four-game winning streak, Khudobin has posted a 1.71 GAA and .945 SV%.

Anton Khudobin
Rask will start Saturday in Philadelphia.

Rask allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Bruins win over the Lightning on Wednesday. Rask appears to be slowly getting back on track as he’s now stopped 51 of the last 56 shots (.911 SV%) he has faced in his last two starts. This afternoon he will make his third straight start in Philadelphia—the Flyers have lost nine in a row (0-4-5) coming into the weekend.

Tuukka Rask
Blandisi will make his Ducks debut on Friday.

Blandisi was acquired as a part of the Adam Henrique-Sami Vatanen trade on Thursday and will make his Ducks debut immediately. The 23-year-old had picked up three goals and 11 assists (14 points) in 19 games with Binghamton (AHL) this season and had nine points (3G / 6A) in 27 NHL games last year. Blandisi brings some offence and grit to the Ducks bottom-6.

Joseph Blandisi
Henrique will make his Ducks debut on Friday.

After being acquired from the Devils on Thursday, Henrique will draw right into the Ducks lineup tonight. The Ducks did not do line rushes at their morning skate so there is no word who he will play with in his debut. Head coach Randy Carlyle did add that Henrique will see some power play time but wasn’t sure if he’ll use him on the penalty kill right away.

Adam Henrique
Malkin (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Friday.

Malkin has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but it looks like he will return to the lineup tonight in Buffalo. Malkin has registered seven goals and 14 assists (21 points) in 22 games this season and should be active in all formats if he plays tonight.

Evgeni Malkin
Chabot will be back in the Senators lineup on Friday.

Chabot has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace Ben Harpur in the lineup tonight vs. the Islanders. Chabot brings a much-needed boost to the Senators offence that has gone cole recently. Chabot has picked up three assists in five games with Ottawa this season.
