Neuvirth allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Flyers loss to the Canucks last Tuesday. Brian Elliott faced a career-high 47 shots last night so Neuvirth is expected to start his eighth game of the season tonight. The 29-year-old has gone 1-2-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .912 SV% at the Wells Fargo Center this season.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.
Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots i the Oilers win in Boston on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while allowing a combined four goals on 47 shots (.915 SV%). Talbot enters play tonight at 4-6-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice. Hopefully his recent play is a sign of the Oilers and Talbot turning a corner.
Goalie Start
Darling will start Tuesday in Columbus.
Darling allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Hurricanes shootout win over the Predators on Sunday. Darling has been inconsistent this season and comes into tonight having gone 4-3-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .905 SV% in nine November appearances. He stopped 25 of 27 shots in a 2-1 OT loss in his first start vs. the Blue Jackets.
Wennberg (upper-body) will return to the Blue Jackets lineup on Tuesday.
Goalie Start
Nilsson will start Tuesday against the Islanders.
Nilsson allowed two goals on 45 shots in the Canucks’ win in Pittsburgh last Wednesday. Jacob Markstrom started the last two games, but Nilsson will go tonight in Brooklyn. Nilsson has not played a lot but has played very well when called upon, going 5-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA, .934 SV% ad two shutouts in seven starts.

Wedgewood will start Tuesday in Edmonton.
Wedgwood gave up three goals on 17 shots in the Coyotes loss to Vegas on Saturday. Wedgewood is more backup material, but with Antti Raanta out, he will continue to start. Wedgewood has a 3.02 GAA and .903 SV% in seven games this season and even though the Oilers have struggled this year, Wedgewood is a risky start on the road tonight.
Wennberg (upper-body) is expected to return to the Blue Jackets lineup on Tuesday.
Goalie Start
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.
Quick allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Kings win over the Ducks on Saturday. The win ended a six-game losing streak for Quick, who will make his 20th start of the season tonight in Detroit. Quick has gone 5-3-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .924 SV% on the road this season.
Line Change
Matteau will make his Golden Knights debut on Tuesday.
Matteau is a former first-round pick (No.29 overall in 2012) but has picked up just six points (3G / 3A) in 56 career NHL games with the Devils and Canadiens. Prior to being called up by Vegas, Matteau had four goals and one assist in 19 games with Chicago (AHL). He will replace Will Carrier (upper-body) on the fourth line tonight.
Carrier will not play Tuesday because of an upper-body injury.
Carrier is day-to-day with an upper-body injury so he will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. the Stars. Stefan Matteau is expected to draw in for his Golden Knights debut to replace Carrier.
Goalie Start
Varlamov will start Wednesday vs. the Jets.
Varlamov allowed five goals on 24 shots in Colorado’s loss in Nashville on November 18th. The Russian netminder has missed the last four games with an illness but will return to the crease tonight vs. the Jets. Varlamov has gone 4-0-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .918 SV% at the Pepsi Center this season but he’ll face a Jets team that has won seven of their last nine.

Dell allowed two goals on 19 shots after he replaced Martin Jones in the Sharks’ OT loss in Vegas last Friday. With Jones battling an injury right now, Dell will get the not tonight in Philadelphia. The 28-year-old backup has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .920 SV% this season and the Sharks have been one of the best teams at limiting scoring chances against, making him an intriguing spot-start or daily option.

Subban will start Tuesday vs. the Stars.
Subban allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Golden Knights win in Arizona on Saturday. Since returning to the crease, Subban has stopped 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) as he continues to impress for Vegas. Subban comes into tonight at 4-0-0 with a 1.87 GAA and .935 SV% and he will face a Stars team that has struggled on the road.
Injury
Spooner (undisclosed) is expected to return to the Bruins lineup on Wednesday.
Spooner missed Sunday’s game vs. the Oilers but is expected to draw back in on Wednesday. Spooner has had tough year with injuries, appearing in just seven games and picking up two assists in the process.
