Howard stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Red Wings win over the Maple Leafs last Friday. The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Howard, who is 2-1-2 with 2.34 GAA and .911 SV% in his last five starts. After a strong performance from Petr Mrazek last night, Howard is expected to go tonight in Philly—he is 4-3-1 with a 2.63 GAA and .921 SV% on the road this season.

Bishop will start Thursday vs. Chicago.
Bishop allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Stars loss to Washington on Tuesday. Bishop has lost four in a row (0-2-2) while posting an ugly 3.74 GAA and .883 SV%. Tonight he will face the Blackhawks for the third time this season—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .911 SV% in the first two meetings.
Goalie Start
Allen will likely start Thursday in Edmonton.
Allen surrendered four goals on 46 shots in the Blues loss in Winnipeg on Sunday. Allen has lost three in a row while allowing a combined nine goals on 88 shots (.898 SV%). The Blues have struggled mightily to score as of late, but Allen is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .932 SV% in two starts vs. Edmonton this season.

Hutton will start Wednesday in Calgary.
Hutton stopped all 48 shots that he faced in the Blues shutout win over the Jets on Saturday. It was a ridiculously impressive evening for Hutton, who will start the front-end of the Blues back-to-back tonight in Calgary. Hutton has gone 3-0-0 with a 1.64 GAA and .950 SV% on the road this season.

The Kings have recalled Kevin Gravel from Ontario (AHL).
Lazar will draw back into the Flames lineup on Wednesday.

Smith allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Flames loss to the Predators on Saturday. David Rittich started on Sunday so the Flames will come back to Smith tonight vs. St. Louis. Smith is riding a three-game losing streak and comes in at 7-9-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .898 SV% in 18 starts at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

With Bobrovsky struggling right now, Korpisalo will get a shot tonight vs. the Maple Leafs, who will counter with former Columbus netminder Curtis McElhinney. Korpisalo is 2-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and .918 SV% on home ice.

Elliott will start Wednesday vs. the Red Wings.
Elliott gave up four goals on 25 shots in the Flyers loss to the Kings on Monday. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Elliott, who will start his ninth consecutive game tonight vs. the Red Wings. The 32-year-old has gone 6-4-3 with a 2.67 GAA and .904 SV% at the Wells Fargo Center this season.
The Kings placed Christian Folin (lower-body) on IR on Tuesday.
Folin left Monday’s game in Philadelphia with a lower-body injury and was placed on IR just ahead of the Christmas roster freeze. With Folin out, Kurtis MacDermid will likely play Thursday vs. the Avalanche.
