Jarry will be between the pipes Friday in Buffalo.

Jarry stopped eight of 10 shots after he replaced the injured Matt Murray in the Penguins overtime win vs. Philadelphia on Monday. With Murray out week-to-week, Jarry suddenly becomes their No.1 netminder and will start tonight in Buffalo. The 22-year-old enters Buffalo at 2-0-2 with a 2.83 GAA and .907 SV% in four appearances this season.

Tristan Jarry
Darling gets the nod Friday in New York.

Darling allowed just two goals on 38 shots in the Hurricanes’ shootout loss in Columbus on Tuesday. Darling finished November at 4-3-3 with a 2.62 GAA and .911 SV% in nine starts and one relief appearance. Tonight he will face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden and the 28-year-old comes in at 3-3-2 with a 2.35 GAA and .917 SV% on the road.

Scott Darling
Gibson will start Friday in Columbus.

Gibson allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Ducks’ win in St. Louis on Wednesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Gibson, who will make his 21 start of the year tonight in Columbus. Gibson has gone 3-2-0 with an ugly 3.60 GAA and .901 SV% in six starts on the road this season.

John Gibson
Bortuzzo is expected to be a healthy scratch on Friday.

Bortuzzo was a mainstay on the blueline while Jay Bouwmeester was out, but with Bouwmeester back and Carl Gunnarsson getting back in the lineup tonight, Bortuzzo will serve as a healthy scratch. The veteran defenseman has just one goal and four assists (five points) in 25 games this season.

Robert Bortuzzo
Sundqvist is expected to draw into the Blues lineup on Friday.

Sundqvist was a healthy scratch vs. the Ducks, but will draw back in to the lineup tonight vs. the Kings. Sundqvist will replace Sammy Blais and is expected to play with Patrik Burgled and Vladimir Sobotka. He has just three assists in 22 games this season.

Oskar Sundqvist
Bogosian (lower-body) will make his season debut on Friday.

Bogosian has had injury problems throughout his career, missing 90 of the last 271 games dating back to 2014-15. Bogosian will jump onto the Sabres’ second pair with Nathan Beaulieu—he had just two goals and nine assists (11 points) in 56 games with the Sabres last year.

Zach Bogosian
The Penguins have sent Josh Archibald to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on a conditioning assignment.

Archibald has been with the Penguins for the duration of the season but has only appeared in two games, so his assignment to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will allow him to get some playing time. Archibald had 16 goals and 13 assists (29 points) in 61 AHL games last season.

Josh Archibald
Vrbata (face) is probable for Friday’s game vs. the Sharks.

Vrbata has missed the last five games but is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday. Vrbata is expected to replace Dryden Hunt on the third line and enter play with three goals and eight assists (11 points) in 19 games this season.

Radim Vrbata
Luongo will start Friday vs. the Sharks.

Luongo allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Panthers’ win in New Jersey on Monday. James Reimer gave him the night off on Tuesday so the Panthers will come back to Luongo tonight vs. the Sharks. In his first start against San Jose, Luongo stopped all 35 shots in a 2-0 shutout win on November 16th.

Roberto Luongo
Seidenberg will be back in the Islanders lineup on Friday.

The Islanders blueline shuffle continues as Seidenberg and Ryan Pulock re-enter the lineup for Thomas Hickey and Scott Mayfield. Seidenberg was a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will play vs. Ottawa and gets into the lineup with three assists in nine games this season.

Dennis Seidenberg
Jones (undisclosed) is expected to be available Friday in Florida; no word on who will get the start.

Jones missed Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia with an undisclosed injury, but Antoine Bibeau was assigned to San Jose (AHL), so Jones should at least be able to dress as Aaron Dell’s backup tonight. The Sharks have a game tomorrow as well, so look for Dell and Jones to split these two games regardless.

Martin Jones
Greiss will start Friday vs. the Senators.

Greiss allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Islanders win in Philadelphia last Friday. Jaroslav Halak started the last two games but Greiss will go tonight vs. the Senators. The 31-year-old has yet to lose in regulation on home ice this season, going 4-0-2 with a 2.95 GAA and .908 SV% in six starts at Barclays Center.
