Bergmann came over from Germany in 2020 and has picked up just one assist in 13 NHL games since. He spent most of his time in the AHL, scoring 10 goals with 14 assists (24 points) in 63 games. He'll have his contract terminated so he can head back to Germany to play with Adler Mannheim (DEL).

Bergmann, 20, was an undrafted free agent who went back to Germany this past season after three years in the USHL. The German winger had 20 goals and nine assists (29 points) in 50 games with the Iserlohn Roosters this season.
