Skinner will start in Boston on Tuesday.

The Oilers have outscored their opposition 11-5 during a three-game winning streak, and will likely turn to Skinner between the pipes on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. The 26-year-old Skinner has played well lately, recording a .924 SV% in his past five games (4-0-1). He has a 2.78 GAA and .898 SV% in 26 contests this season (15-8-3). The Oilers enter Tuesday's contest as -147 road favorites against a Bruins club amid a four-game losing skid.

Stuart Skinner
Puljujarvi is expected to draw back into Pittsburgh's lineup on Tuesday vs. Columbus.

Puljujarvi had been limited only 21 games with Pittsburgh this season, scoring eight points (3G / 5A) while being in and out of the lineup as a healthy scratch. After spending the first five seasons of his career with the Edmonton Oilers, Puljuarvi has played on three different teams over the course of the last three seasons. He has 126 points (57G / 69A) in 377 career games. Anthony Beauvillier will exit the lineup to accommodate Puljujarvi's return.

Jesse Puljujarvi
Kreider (upper-body) has been placed on IR retroactive to January 5th.

Kreider did not play on Sunday and will be out of the lineup until at least January 14th against the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old Kreider has struggled this season with only 15 points (13G / 2A) in 34 games but was playing better lately, scoring three points (2G / 1A) in three games before his injury.

Chris Kreider
Lyon is in Detroit's starter's crease at morning skate.

The Red Wings are riding a four-game winning streak, three with Lyon between the pipes, and will likely turn to him again on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators. Lyon was solid in his previous outing, saving 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) in an impressive 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. That said, the 32-year-old Lyon has battled adversity this season, posting a 2.78 GAA and .899 SV% in 15 appearances (8-5-0). The Red Wings enter Tuesday's contest as +102 home underdogs against a Senators squad outscored 8-2 during a two-game losing skid (0-2-0).

Alex Lyon
Fedotov will start vs. Toronto on Tuesday.

Fedotov played his first game in over a month in the Flyers' previous outing, a 3-2 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be rewarded with another start on Tuesday in a rematch against the Maple Leafs. The towering 6'6 Fedotov has struggled at the NHL level, posting a 3.42 GAA and .877 SV% despite salvaging a serviceable 4-4-2 record. The Flyers enter Tuesday's contest as +112 home underdogs against a Maple Leafs club riding a four-game winning streak.

Ivan Fedotov
Grubauer will start against the Devils on Monday.

With Joey Daccord (upper body) still sidelined, Seattle will roll with Grubauer between the pipes for a fifth straight game. Grubauer has been serviceable in Daccord's absence, posting a .886 SV% in four contests (2-1-1). He has a 3.47 GAA and .879 SV% in 17 games this season (5-11-1). Seattle enters Monday's contest as +208 home underdogs against a New Jersey Devils squad amid a four-game losing skid (0-4-0).

Philipp Grubauer
Markstrom will start in Seattle on Monday.

Markstrom will make his 30th start of the season when the Devils travel to Seattle to take on the Kraken on Monday. Markstrom took a disappointing loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 24 shots in a 3-2 defeat to the Sharks. The 15-year-veteran owns a 19-8-2 record and a .911 SV% in his first season as a Devil. He's a good bet to get back in the win column on Monday as the Devils enter action at -250 on the money line.

Jacob Markstrom
Nichushkin (lower-body) is expected to make his return to the Avalanche lineup during their upcoming road trip.

The Avalanche travel to Chicago, Minnesota, and Winnipeg on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday respectively, meaning Nichushkin should return by the weekend at the latest. Nichushkin has not played since suffering the injury on New Year's Eve against the Jets. The 29-year-old winger has 11 goals and six assists in 21 games this season.

Valeri Nichushkin
Ekblad (undisclosed) will not play in Colorado on Monday.

Ekblad exited Friday's 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins late in the third period and has not practiced since. With Niko Mikkola (undisclosed) also sidelined Monday, the Panthers have recalled Tobias Bjornfot from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), who is set to make his season debut.

Aaron Ekblad
Lankinen will start in Montreal on Monday.

With Thatcher Demko sidelined due to back spasms, Lankinen will get the nod when the Canucks travel to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on Monday. Lankinen played well in a losing effort his last time out, allowing just a single goal on 17 shots as the Predators tacked on a couple of empty netters to secure a 3-0 victory over the Canucks on Friday. Lankinen has performed well in Demko's absence this season, posting a .908 SV% and a 15-7-4 record across 26 appearances. He and the Canucks enter action on Monday night as slight favourites at -130 on the money line.

Kevin Lankinen
Hughes (upper-body) took full part in warmups and appears set to return to the Canucks lineup in Montreal on Monday.

Hughes has missed the previous four games due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup on Monday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 25-year-old Hughes is having another excellent season, scoring 42 points (8G / 34A) in 34 games. He was on a particularly strong stretch before his injury, with 22 points (4G / 18A) in his last 14 games.

Quinn Hughes
Luukkonen will start against the Capitals on Monday.

After a three-game winning streak, the Sabres have returned to the loss column, being outscored 13-8 during a three-game losing skid (0-2-1). Luukkonen struggled in his previous outing, allowing six goals on 29 shots (.793 SV%) in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche. He has a 3.07 GAA and .894 SV% in 28 games this season (11-12-4). The Sabres enter Monday's contest as +126 home underdogs against a Washington Capitals club with points in three straights (2-0-1).

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Laine (illness) will remain out vs. Vancouver on Monday.

Laine appears to be nearing a return to the lineup but will miss a third straight contest on Monday against the Vancouver Canucks. The 26-year-old Laine has been impressive in his limited time with the Canadiens, scoring 10 points (8G / 2A) in 13 games despite averaging a career-low 14:51 time-on-ice.
