Vasilevskiy will start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Stars on Thursday. Vasilevskiy has been exceptional this season and comes into Saturday on a four-game winning streak while posting a 1.71 GAA and .944 SV%. Tonight he faces an Islanders team that has gone 4-6-0 while averaging 2.90 goals for per game on the road this season.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Holtby will start Saturday vs. the Wild.

Holtby allowed six goals on 25 shots in the Capitals loss in Nashville on Tuesday. He was given a rare night off on Thursday, so he’ll get the nod tonight vs. the Wild. Despite the rough outing, Holtby comes in at 5-1-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .917 SV% in six November starts.

Braden Holtby
Ritchie will draw back into the Stars lineup on Saturday afternoon.

Ritchie has sat for the last two games, but will play today vs. the Oilers. Ritchie has had a slow start to the season, picking up one goal and one assist in 14 games this season, averaging 11:44 TOI/GM. There’s no word on who Ritchie will replace in the Stars lineup.

Brett Ritchie
The NHL has suspended Matthew Tkachuk for one game—won’t play Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Tkachuk has been suspended for one game for his role in Wednesday’s brawl in Detroit. Tkachuk slashed Luke Witkowski as he left the ice following a fight, which sparked a full blown brawl. With Tkachuk out, Matt Stajan will likely draw into the lineup on Saturday.

Matthew Tkachuk
Smith is expected to start Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Smith allowed two goals on nine shots before leaving Monday’s game vs. the Blues with an upper-body injury. The injury forced him to miss Wednesday’s game in Detroit, in which Eddie Lack was lit up, but joined the team in Philadelphia and is expected to start this afternoon. The 35-year-old has gone 4-1-0 with a 1.77 GA and .953 SV% in five road starts this season.

Mike Smith
Schneider will start Saturday in Winnipeg.

Schneider allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Devils 1-0 overtime loss in Toronto on Thursday. Schneider has lost four of his six November starts (2-2-2) despite posting a 1.95 GAA and .942 SV%. He will face a strong offence in Winnipeg this afternoon and Schneider comes in at 3-1-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .926 SV% on the road this season.

Cory Schneider
Khudobin will start Saturday in San Jose.

Khudobin allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Bruins win in Los Angeles on Thursday. With Tuukka Rask struggling, the Bruins will stick with the hot hand tonight in San Jose. In his first start against the Sharks this season, Khudobin stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 2-1 win.

Anton Khudobin
Quick is expected to start Saturday vs. the Panthers.

Quick allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Kings loss to the Bruins on Thursday. Quick has lost four in a row while posting a 3.07 GAA and .910 SV%. This afternoon he will look to get back on track against the 7-9-2 Panthers. Quick comes in at 4-4-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season.

Jonathan Quick
Lehtonen gets the nod Saturday vs. Edmonton.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Stars loss in Florida on Tuesday. With Ben Bishop hitting a rough patch, Lehtonen will get a shot this afternoon vs. the Oilers. The 34-year-old has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .910 SV% in four starts and two relief appearances this seasons. The Oilers have gone 3-3-2 while averaging just 1.75 goals for per game on the road this season.

Kari Lehtonen
Wideman will miss “weeks” with a hamstring injury.

Wideman served as the Senators seventh defenseman on Thursday and left late in the third period after getting twisted up and will now miss several weeks. With Wideman out, look for Nick Paul to draw in on Saturday as the Senators go back to a 12 forward, six D-man look.

Chris Wideman
Condon will start Saturday against the Coyotes.

Condon was yanked after allowing three goals on 10 shots in the Senators win over the Avalanche in Sweden. The 27-year-old has struggled early in 2017-18, going 1-0-2 with a 3.02 GAA and .906 SV% in four starts and one relief appearance. Despite his struggles, Condon has a good opportunity to register a victory this afternoon with the 3-15-3 Arizona Coyotes in town.
