Tonight he faces a Stars team averaging 2.83 goals for per game.
Markstrom allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Canucks overtime loss to the Stars on Monday. The veteran enjoyed a nice month of October, going 5-4-0 with a 2.57 GAA and .927 SV% in 10 starts—he already has one win in Ottawa this season.

Anderson has had a really tough go as of late, allowing a combined 21 goals on 156 shots (.865 SV%) in his last five starts. Despite the poor play, he is a decent option tonight against a sub-par Red Wings team.

Petrovic has been a healthy scratch in three of the last five games, including vs. the Lightning on Monday, but will replace an unnamed player in the lineup tomorrow. He has just two assists in eight games this season.
McCann has missed the last four games, but returned to the ice on Wednesday and could be back in the lineup tomorrow. McCann has not been cleared, but practicing today is a good sign he is close to a return. Monitor his status tomorrow morning.
