Nieto is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, so Sven Andrighetto (lower-body) will re-enter the lineup and replace him on the Colorado fourth line on Friday.

Nieto is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, so Sven Andrighetto (lower-body) will re-enter the lineup and replace him on the Colorado fourth line on Friday.

Andrighetto has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, but will replace Matt Nieto on the Colorado fourth line. Andrighetto has moved up and down the lineup this season so don’t be surprised if he sees some middle-6 ice-time during the game. He has just one goal on 12 shots in six games this season.

To make things even worse for Boston, Moore will come out of the Bruins lineup, making him one of six defensemen that will not play on Friday. Moore is unlikely to play Saturday in Arizona.

Crawford stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Blackhawks shutout win over the Blues on Wednesday. It was a much needed performance from Crawford, who snapped a five-game losing streak in the process. Russo, 25, has registered eight assists in 13 games with Tucson this season. The former fourth-round pick has been called up because the Coyotes blueline is without Jakob Chychrun, Alex Goligoski and Jason Demers, who was injured last night. Russo has no points in 19 career NHL games (all with the Red Wings).

Demers was forced to leave Thursday’s game late in the third period after suffering an apparent right leg injury. Demers was unable to put weight on his leg as he was being helped off of the ice, suggesting that he could miss an extended period of time.

Parise was scratched on Thursday after being listed as a healthy scratch, but will play Saturday vs. the Sabres. Parise, who has 16 points (7G / 9A) in 18 games this season, was back on a line with Mikko Koivu and Nino Niederreiter this morning.

Klingberg underwent surgery on his hand last Friday and will miss at least five weeks. Klingberg’s original timetable was “one month,” but head coach Jim Montgomery said he would “take that deal” if Klingberg was out for six weeks. This puts Klingberg on-pace to return in late-December/early-January which will give Miro Heiskanen an extended run on the Stars top-pairing and top power-play unit.

Budaj will miss the Kings morning skate on Friday morning because of an illness. As a result, Budaj is listed as questionable for tonight’s game in Chicago, which would leave Cal Petersen to make his first career NHL start.

Petersen stopped 15 of 16 shots after replacing Peter Budaj in the Kings 5-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. With Budaj sick, Petersen will likely make his first career start tonight in Chicago. The 24-year-old has a career .903 SV% in 51 career games with the Ontario Reign (AHL).
