Alt is expected to be recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and make his season debut on Monday.

Shayne Gostisbehere is banged up, so Samuel Morin was called-up, but it sounds like he is also dealing with an injury, so look for Alt to come up and appear in his second career NHL game. The 26-year-old has scored two goals with four assists (six points) in 10 AHL games this season.

Mark Alt
The Coyotes have recalled Hunter Miska from Tucson (AHL).

Miska, 22, has gone 3-0-0 despite posting a 4.02 GAA and .884 SV% in four games with Tucson this season. Miska getting called up suggests that Antti Raanta (lower-body) isn’t ready to go on Monday. Look for Miska to backup Scott Wedgewood, who will likely make his Coyotes debut tonight.

Hunter Miska
Halak will start Monday vs. the Golden Knights.

Halak allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Islanders win in Nashville on Saturday. Halak has won three straight games while stopping 98 of 106 shots (.925 SV%). Tonight he will get his first look at the Vegas Golden Knights, who shockingly come in at 8-1-0 and are third in the NHL in scoring (3.78 GF/PG).

Jaroslav Halak
The Blue Jackets have recalled Tyler Motte from Cleveland (AHL).

Motte was acquired along with Artemi Panarin this offseason and it looks like he could make his Blue Jackets debut on Monday. Motte has been recalled because Cam Atkinson (lower-body) is banged up. Motte has collected five goals and two assists (seven points) in seven AHL games and has seven career NHL points (4G / 3A) in 33 games with the Blackhawks.

Tyler Motte
Atkinson is questionable for Monday’s game with a lower-body injury.

Atkinson was forced to exit Saturday’s game early because of a lower-body injury, putting his status for tonight’s game in jeopardy. On Monday morning the Blue Jackets recalled Tyler Motte from Cleveland (AHL) which suggests that Atkinson won’t be available against the Bruins.

Cam Atkinson
The Senators have recalled Max McCormick from Belleville (AHL).

The Senators had the weekend off so they sent McCormick down for salary savings but have recalled him for Monday’s game vs. Montreal. The 25-year-old has no points in two NHL games but has picked up one goal and two assists (three points) in seven AHL contests.

Max McCormick
Getzlaf left Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Getzlaf left the game very early after taking a puck to the face during his first shift. Head coach Randy Carlyle said Getzlaf told him he didn’t feel comfortable on the ice and they decided it was best if he gets evaluated when they get back to Anaheim. Consider Getzlaf as day-to-day and questionable for Wednesday’s game vs. the Maple Leafs.

Ryan Getzlaf
The Bruins have recalled Zane McIntyre from Providence (AHL) on an emergency basis.

McIntyre, 25, has gone 4-1-0 with a 1.81 GAA and .928 SV% in five starts with Providence this season. He was up with Boston to backup Anton Khudobin while Tuukka Rask was out, but now he will backup Rask with Khudobin staying in Boston for Monday’s game.

Zane McIntyre
Rask will start Monday in Columbus.

Rask allowed two goals on 30 shots in a losing effort in his return to the Bruins’ crease on Saturday. It was a strong start for the veteran netminder, but the Bruins had a tough time beating Jonathan Quick at the other end of the ice. Rask has posted a 2.96 GAA and. 894 SV% in five starts so far this season.

Tuukka Rask
Bishop will start Monday vs. the Canucks.

Bishop gave up five goals on 35 shots in the Stars’ loss in Edmonton last Thursday. After a solid start to the season, Bishop has now gone 2-2-0 while allowing a combined 15 goals on 122 shots (.877 SV%) in his last four starts. Despite Kari Lehtonen getting the win on Friday, the Stars will go back to Bishop tonight in Vancouver.

Ben Bishop
Anderson will start Monday vs. the Canadiens.

Anderson allowed four goals on 40 shots in the Senators win over the Flyers last Thursday. Mike Condon started two of the last three games, but Anderson will start tonight vs. the Canadiens. Anderson will make his ninth start of the season tonight and it comes against the 3-7-1 Canadiens—he is 2-1-3 with a 3.25 GAA and .899 SV% on home ice this season.
