Mueller was a minus-2 with two PIMS and two shots in 12:34 TOI in the Devils loss in Boston on Saturday. He will be replaced by Matt Tennyson against the Panthers on Monday.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Panthers’ shootout loss in Buffalo last Friday. Samuel Montembeault started his first game on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Bobrovsky on Monday afternoon. The Devils are averaging just 1.80 goals per game (30th in the NHL) through five games, so Bobrovsky should start the week with a ‘W’.

Rooney has played in the last three games, averaging 11:13 TOI/gm, but will be replaced by Jesper Boqvist on Monday. Rooney has no points, a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal in three games this season.

Hjalmarsson blocked an Erik Johnson slapshot in the first period of Saturday’s game and will reportedly be sidelined until mid-January with a cracked fibula. This is a huge blow for the Coyotes blueline, who lost a huge minute-eater. Ilya Lyubushkin will likely replace Hjalmarsson in the lineup on Tuesday.

Gravel has not registered a point in three games with the Marlies and will replace Rasmus Sandin on the Maple Leafs roster. He has 13 points (1G / 12A) in 106 career NHL games with the Kings and Oilers.

Sandin made the team after a tremendous training camp and collected two assists and five shots in 12:13 ATOI in his first six NHL games. Sandin heads to the AHL to get more playing time and will be replaced by Kevin Gravel on the Maple Leafs roster.

Cizikas dealt with an ankle injury in the pre-season and re-aggravated it last week. Cizikas is in a walking boot, suggesting that he will miss an extended period of time. His move to IR opened up a roster spot to call-up Oliver Wahlstrom from Bridgeport (AHL).

Wahlstrom was the No.11 pick in the 2018 draft and seems poised to make his NHL debut on Monday afternoon. The 19-year-old winger has likely been recalled to replace Jordan Eberle, who was hurt in Saturday’s win. Wahlstrom has one goal and two assists in four AHL games, giving him six points (3G / 3A) in nine career AHL games.

Eberle appeared to suffer a leg injury in Saturday’s win over the Panthers. Head coach Barry Trotz did not have an update on Eberle post-game but the Islanders recalled Oliver Wahlstrom from Bridgeport (AHL) on Monday, which suggests that Eberle won’t be available vs. the Blues.

Mayhew has had a great start to the season with Iowa, scoring three goals and three assists (six points) in four AHL games. He was second on the team with 60 points (27G / 33A) in 71 games last year and could make his NHL debut on Monday with Mats Zuccarello questionable due to an undisclosed injury.

Zuccarello missed Sunday’s practice with “bumps and bruises” and may not play Monday against the Senators. The Wild shuffled their lines without Zuccarello and recalled Gerry Mayhew from Iowa (AHL).

Szwarz has not recorded a point in three games with Belleville but had 46 points (23G / 23A) in 68 AHL games a season ago. He has seven points (4G / 3A) in 47 career NHL games with the Coyotes and Bruins.
