With Matt Hunick fighting an injury, Trotman comes up presumably to be an extra defenseman. The 27-year-old has two assists in four games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season and just 12 points (3G / 9A) in 67 career NHL games with the Bruins.

Granlund has been bothered by a groin injury since the season opener but he was back on the ice for Thursday’s practice and skated on the top-line and top power-play unit, making him a game-time decision for tomorrow. Monitor his status during the pre-game skate, but it looks like he will return and it’s a huge addition for the Wild who are quite banged up right now.
Megan appeared in one game with the Blues but heads back to Chicago after clearing waivers on Thursday. Megan had a really nice AHL season a year ago, collecting 33 goals and 33 assists (66 points) in 73 games.
Ferland missed last Saturday’s game in Vancouver but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. Carolina. Ferland has already lost his top-line spot next two Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau and with that he lost most of his fantasy value. He has just one goal on 12 shots in five games this season.
Lehner was not on the ice for Thursday’s practice session because he is under the weather. This obviously puts his status for tomorrow’s game in question, leaving the door open for Chad Johnson to start his third straight game.
After being held out of the first three games of the season, Gorges got into the last four contests but is now sidelined with an undisclosed ailment. The Sabres have a couple of solid defensemen on the roster so this is not a huge loss for them at this time.
Girgeonsons played just 2:30 TOI in the Sabres loss in Vegas on Tuesday, but it doesn’t sound like his injury is overly serious. He is listed as day-to-day and thus questionable for Friday, but don’t expect the Latvian forward to miss too much time.
Josefson left Sunday’s game in Anaheim with a lower-body injury and missed Tuesday’s game in Vegas as a result. Head coach Phil Housley came out on Thursday and said that Josefson will miss a couple weeks with the ailment.
Cehlarik served as an extra forward during his call-up but with David Backes (illness) set to return tonight he will head back to Providence where he has two goals and three assists (five points) in three games this season.
Forsberg allowed four goals on 43 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss in Toronto on October 9th. With Corey Crawford starting last night, Forsberg will make his second start of the season tonight vs. the Oilers. Edmonton is off to a terrible start to the season, but they still have Connor McDavid—making Forsberg a risky spot-start option.
Paquette is dealing with a lower-body injury and puts his status for tonight’s game in question. The bottom-6 forward has just one assist and two shots on goal in six games this season—stay away from him in fantasy circles.
Graovac logged just 3:19 TOI during the Capitals loss to Toronto on Tuesday before departing with an upper-body injury. Graovac has not been a permanent fixture in the Caps’ lineup this season, playing in just three of seven games.
McQuaid left Sunday’s game in Vegas early, but he is ready to go tonight vs. the Canucks. McQuaid doesn’t offer much in terms of fantasy value having record just one assist, six shots and six blocks in five games so far.
Agostino has been a prolific AHL scorer since being taken 140th overall in 2010, but hasn’t been given many NHL opportunities. Agosino had 83 points (24G / 59A) in 65 games with the Chicago Wolves (AHL) last year and seven points (2G / 5A) in three games with Providence before he was called up this season. He will make his Bruins debut on the fourth line but is expected to see some power-play time as well.
Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Lightning’s 3-2 win in Detroit on Monday. He was given a day off on Tuesday, but will make his seventh start of the season tonight in Columbus. So far this season, Vasilevskiy has gone 5-1-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .914 SV%, but he has played much better than the stats suggest.
Kinkaid stopped all nine shots that he faced after replacing Cory Schneider in the Devils’ 5-4 win in Ottawa last night. Kinkaid will make his second start of the season tonight vs. the Sharks and comes in at 2-0-0 and has stopped 38 of 40 shots (.950 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces a Sharks team that is 2-3-0 while averaging just 2.60 goals for per game.
Schneider allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Devils’ win over the Lightning on Tuesday. Schneider has won four of his first five starts while registering a 2.95 GAA and .917 SV%. Schneider has been getting a lot of goal support, something he is not accustom to. He is a solid option once again tonight in Ottawa.
Luongo allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Panthers’ loss in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Despite the loss, Luongo will make his second straight start tonight vs. the Penguins—the veteran has lost two of three starts while allowing a combined 10 goals on 101 shots (.901 SV%). He is a risky start against a high-powered Pittsburgh squad.
Nilsson stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Canucks’ shutout win in Ottawa on Tuesday. It was as good of a Canucks debut as Nilsson could have hoped for and has earned him another start tonight in Boston. The Bruins have struggled to start the season and could be without Tuukka Rask, making Nilsson an option tonight.
Rinne allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Predators’ win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. After opening the season with a loss, Rinne has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.24 GAA and .923 SV%.
