The Hurricanes have recalled Alex Nedeljkovic from Florida (ECHL)

Eddie Lack had to be taken off on a stretcher in the Hurricanes’ OT loss to Detroit last night, so Nedeljkovic will come up to take his spot on the roster. The 21-year-old netminder has gone 8-14-0 with a 3.40 GAA and .881 SV% with Charlotte (AHL) and 4-4-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .885 SV% with Florida this season.

Polak will return from his two-game suspension on Tuesday.

Polak missed the last two games with a suspension, but will draw in for Alexey Marchenko tonight vs. the Panthers. Polak has just four goals and four assists (eight points) in 67 games this season.

Vasilevskiy leads the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.

Vasilevskiy stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Lightning’s OT win in Detroit on Friday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Vasilevkskiy, who will go for his 19th win of the season tonight. He is 6-3-1- with a 2.28 GAA and .929 SV% in his last 10 starts and won his first start against the Blackhawks.

Lack will start in goal vs. the Red Wings.

Lack allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Hurricanes’ win in New Jersey on Saturday. Lack has been great recently, winning four straight starts with a 1.25 GAA and .954 SV%. He will look to extend his winning streak to five tonight vs. the Red Wings—Detroit comes in having won four of their last six (4-1-1).

Smith allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Coyotes’ loss in Washington on Saturday. Smith has lost five in a row (0-4-1) while allowing a combined 15 goals on 175 shots (.914 SV%). One of those losses came against the Blues, who he will face again tonight—he allowed two goals on 40 shots in a 3-0 loss two Saturday’s ago.

Elliott allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Flames’ win in St. Louis on Saturday. Elliott continues to play extremely well and comes into tonight at 24-14-3 with a 2.48 GAAm .911 SV% and two shutouts on the season. He is a must-start vs. the Avalanche, who he is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .913 SV% against this season.

The Coyotes signed Keller on Sunday; will make his NHL debut on Monday.

Keller, 18, was the seventh overall pick this summer and is coming off of a fantastic freshman season at Boston University. He led the team with 45 points (21G / 24A) in 31 games and will draw right into the Coyotes lineup on Monday. He is worth a stash in keeper leagues, because he should break camp next fall with the Coyotes.

Reimer stopped all 25 shots the he faced in the Panthers’ 7-0 win vs. the Blackhawks on Saturday. Reimer has won his last two games while stopping 47 of 48 shots (.979 SV%). Tonight he will take on a Sabres team that has won three of their last four—but that’s on the heels of 10 of 12.

Darling will start Monday in Tampa Bay.

Darling allowed three goals on six shots after replacing Corey Crawford in Saturday’s loss to the Panthers. It was ugly night for both Blackhawks’ netminders, but they’ll turn to Darling tonight in Tampa Bay. Darling is 3-0-1 with a 2.53 GAA and .916 SV% in three starts and two relief appearances in March.

Fisher (lower-body) did not travel on the Predators’ two-game road trip.

Fisher has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and will miss at least the next two. The Predators return to home ice vs. the Maple Leafs on Thursday—monitor his status leading up to that game.

Anderson allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Senators’ loss in Montreal on Saturday. Anderson has lost three of his last four starts while posting a 2.97 GAA and .907 SV%. Anderson will look to get back on the winning train—he is 11-5-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .933 SV% on the road this season.
