Bernier allowed four goals on 42 shots in Colorado’s overtime loss in Anaheim last night. With Semyon Varlamov out, Bernier will have to play great this week—he comes into Monday at 6-7-3 with a 3.35 GAA and .898 SV% in 16 road starts this seaosn.


Toews has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but might be back in on Wednesday. Toews has registered 20 goals and 32 assists (52 points) in 74 games this season.

Faulk is dealing with a lingering upper-body injury and will come out of the lineup for the fourth time in six games. Roland McKeown will draw into the lineup for Faulk.

The Rangers are “not counting” on having Zuccarello for the final three games of the season after he got hurt while blocking a shot in Carolina on Saturday. Zuccarello will undergo and MRI to determine the severity, but he’s likely done for the year.

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said that Fast has been dealing with a bad groin that will likely keep him out for the final week of the season. Fast had been playing his best hockey of the season as of late, but finishes the year with 33 points (13G / 20A) in 71 games.

Stamkos left Sunday’s game against the Predators and did not return. Tomorrow is a crucial game for the Lightning as they play host to their Atlantic Division foe, the Boston Bruins. Monitor Stammer’s status during the Lightning’s morning skate, his availability for that should be directly related to his availability for the game.

Talbot was pulled after he allowed three goals on seven shots in Calgary on Saturday. Talbot has lost four in a row, but is 3-3-1 with a 3.86 GAA and .884 SV% in his previous seven starts—tonight he makes his eighth consecutive start. He is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .953 SV% in two starts vs. the Wild this season.

Nugent-Hopkins will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. Nugent-Hopkins has been excellent since returning from injury, scoring six goals with eight assists (14 points) in 14 games since returning from injury in early-March.

There’s no word on why Byfuglien isn’t playing tonight, but it is probably just rest. Tucker Poolman will draw in to replace Byfuglien in Ottawa.

Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Jets win in Toronto on Saturday. Hellebuyck has won six consecutive starts while allowing a combined 15 goals on 172 shots (.913 SV%). In his only start against the Senators this season, Hellebuyck stopped all 21 shots that he faced in a 5-0 shutout win.

Upshall left Saturday’s game in Arizona after being crushed by defenseman Luke Schenn. Upshall suffered a lacerated kidney, which will keep him out for the rest of the regular season. This is a scary injury and there’s no real timetable for when he’ll be back.

Allen was pulled after he allowed two goals on 14 shots in the Blues 6-0 loss in Arizona on Saturday. Allen finished March at 8-3-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .916 SV%. Tonight he faces the Capitals on home ice, where he has gone 14-10-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .903 SV% this season.

Darling allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Hurricanes win in Washington on Friday. He was given Saturday night off, but will start tonight in Florida. Darling was 3-3-0 with a 3.52 GAA and .878 SV% in March and won his only start against the Panthers this season.

Johnson allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Sabres win in Nashville on Saturday. Johnson has two wins in his last three appearances while posting a 3.98 GAA and .894 SV%. He has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .939 SV% in two starts against the Maple Leafs this season.



Dermott suffered what appeared to be a serious ankle injury vs. the Jets on Saturday, but MRI revealed no structural damage for the rookie defenseman. Dermott is considered day-to-day and will likely be dealt with caution during the final week of the regular season.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Wild’s loss in Dallas on Saturday. Dubnyk has been excellent at the Xcel Energy Center this season, going 21-4-6 with a 2.25 GAA and .925 SV% in 32 games. In his only start against his former team this season, Dubnyk allowed three goals on 27 shots in a 4-1 loss in mid-March.
