Price will start Tuesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Price allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens’ win in Toronto on Saturday. Al Montoya started yesterday, so Price should start tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. February hasn’t been overly kind to Price, who is 3-6-0 with a 2.76 GAA and .903 SV% in nine starts this month.

Carey Price
Lundqvist leads the Rangers onto the ice for warmups.

Lundqvist allowed five goals on 26 shots in the Rangers’ loss to the Blue Jackets on Sunday. Despite the loss, he is expected to be back in goal tonight vs. the Capitals. He has gone 7-2-1 with a 2.16 GAA and .932 SV% in 10 February starts and is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and. 950 SV% in two starts vs. the Capitals this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Predators’ win over the Oilers on Sunday. Rinne has won three of his last six starts despite posting a hideous 4.31 GAA and .846 SV%. Rinne heads into Buffalo at 8-10-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .915 SV% in 20 road starts this season.

Pekka Rinne
Lehner (head) leads the Sabres onto the ice for warmups.

Lehner was in concussion protocol following a collision with Tyson Barrie on Saturday, but will surprisingly start tonight vs. the Predators. Linus Ullmark was expected to get the nod, but Lehner will start having lost two in a row while allowing a combined nine goals on 66 shots (.864 SV%).

Robin Lehner
The Maple Leafs have sent Frederik Gauthier to Toronto (AHL).

The Maple Leafs acquired Brian Boyle from the Lightning on Monday and Boyle will take Gauthier’s spot in the lineup on Tuesday. With the addition of Boyle, Gauthier returns to the Marlies, where he has six points (1G / 5A) in 26 games this season.

Frederik Gauthier
Marner (upper-body) has been activated from IR; will play on Tuesday.

Marner has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but will play tonight in San Jose. Marner has had an outstanding rookie season, having scored 15 goals with 33 assists (48 points) in 56 games. Marner will reclaim his spot on the second line with Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk.

Mitch Marner
Soderbergh will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game.

After a breakout 2015-16 season, Soderberg has struggled mightily in 2016-17. The 31-year-old has scored just five goals with six assists (11 points) in 59 games and tonight he will sit for the second straight game.

Carl Soderberg
Smith will start Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Smith allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Canucks’ win over the Sabres on Saturday. He has allowed three goals in each of his NHL starts this season while posting a .914 SV%. He’ll take on a Flyers team that has lost four of their last five games.

Jeremy Smith
Mrazek will start Tuesday in Vancouver.

Mrazek gave up three goals on 22 shots in the Red Wings’ loss to the Islanders last Tuesday. Mrazek has stopped 141 of the last 151 shots (.934 SV%) that he has faced and that leads to him making his fifth consecutive start tonight in Vancouver. The Canucks are really depleted because of mumps and injuries.

Petr Mrazek
The Rangers have sent Pavel Buchnevich to Hartford (AHL).

Buchnevich has been a healthy scratch for the last three games and was sent to Hartford this afternoon to create a roster spot to add Brendan Smith from Detroit today. Buchnevich has had a really inconsistent season and has had his play fall off a lot recently.

Pavel Buchnevich
Bishop is expected to make his Kings debut on Tuesday.

Bishop stopped 20 of 21 shots in a win over the Oilers in his final start with the Lightning before being traded to the Kings. He heads to Los Angeles on a five-game winning streak, having posting a .953 SV% and one shutout over that stretch. He will have a lot easier playing behind a defensive Kings squad.

Ben Bishop
Talbot starts Tuesday in St. Louis.

Talbot allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Oilers’ loss in Nashville on Sunday. Tonight he will try and wrap February up on a positive note—he has gone 5-5-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .914 SV% in his first 10 starts of the month. Talbot is 2-0-0 with a 1.47 GAA and .952 SV% in his first two starts vs. the Blues.

Cam Talbot
Ward will start Tuesday in Florida.

Ward allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss to the Penguins last Tuesday. Eddie Lack has started the last two games, but Ward will start tonight in Florida. Ward is on a four-game losing streak while posting a 3.62 GAA and .873 SV%. He has also lost 17 of his 23 road starts this year.

Cam Ward
Granlund's mumps test came back negative; cleared to play on Tuesday.

Granlund missed Saturday’s game with what was believed to be mumps, but he was misdiagnosed. Granlund is feeling better and will suit up tonight vs. the Red Wings. He comes in with 15 goals and 11 assists (26 points) in 60 games this season.

Markus Granlund
Miller was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

Miller allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Canucks’ loss to the Sharks on Saturday. He has lost four of his last five starts while allowing a combined 16 goals on 162 shots (.901 SV%). Tonight he faces the Red Wings for the second time—he allowed three goals on 27 shots in a 3-1 loss in Detroit in November.

Ryan Miller
Niskanen (lower-body) will return to the Capitals' lineup on Tuesday.

Niskanen missed the last two games, but will back in the lineup tonight in New York. Niskanen could see a slightly reduced role after the Capitals added Kevin Shattenkirk in a trade late Monday night. Niskanen will play with his regular partner Dmitry Orlov tonight and will play alongside John Carlson on the second power play unit.

Matt Niskanen
Lundqvist will start Tuesday in New York.

Holtby allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Capitals’ win over the Oilers last Friday. Philipp Grubauer gave him the night off on Saturday, so Holtby will start tonight in New York. Holtby has the league’s best GAA (1.97) and fourth best SV% (.928) and is a must-start whenever he gets the nod.
