Grubauer will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Grubauer stopped all 18 shots that he faced after replacing Braden Holtby in the Capitals loss in Columbus last night. Grubauer has been excellent in his last five appearances, stopping 120 of the last 126 shots (.952 SV%) that he has faced. He makes for an intriguing spot-start tonight vs. the Senators—he is 4-3-0 with a 1.89 GAA and .934 SV% on home ice this year.

Philipp Grubauer
Gillies will start Tuesday in Dallas.

Gillies stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Flames win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Gillies has won his last two starts, while stopping 63 of 66 shots (.955 SV%). He will look to make it three in a row tonight in Dallas—the Stars are 21-10-1 on home ice this season. So far, Gillies has a 2.54 GAA and .914 SV% in four NHL games this season.

Jon Gillies
Niemi will start Wednesday vs. the Islanders.

Niemi allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Lightning on Saturday. He was given Monday night off as Charlie Lindgren lost to the Flyers, but will be back in tonight vs. the Islanders. Since joining the Canadiens, Niemi has gone 3-2-2 with a 2.60 GAA and .922 SV% in 10 games.

Antti Niemi
Allen will start Tuesday in Minnesota.

Allen gave up four goals on 39 shots in the Blues loss in Nashville on Sunday. Allen is on a four-game losing streak, posting a 3.28 GAA and .870 SV% in the process. He’ll be in tough tonight in Minnesota—he is 1—0-1 with a 2.99 GAA and .871 SV% in two starts and one relief appearance vs. the Wild this year.

Jake Allen
Hartman will make his Predators debut on Tuesday.

Hartman was acquired from the Blackhawks on Monday and will immediately step into the Predators lineup on Tuesday. Hartman, who has collected eight goals and 17 assists (25 points) in 57 games this season, will start on the fourth line but there’s a strong chance he moves up to at least the third line in the near future.

Ryan Hartman
Allen is in the starter's crease at the Blues morning skate.

The Sabres have recalled Seth Griffith from Rochester (AHL).

With Kyle Okposo’s wife in labour and questionable for Wednesday, Griffith has been recalled to presumably take his spot in the lineup. Griffith had three points (2G / 1A) in 18 games with the Sabres earlier this season. During his time in Rochester, he has 13 goals and 21 assists (34 points) in 36 games.

Seth Griffith
Stastny will make his Jets debut on Tuesday.

Stastny, who was acquired from the Blues on Monday, will centre what might be the most lethal third line in hockey—he will have Nikolaj Ehlers and Patrik Laine on his flanks. Stastny has picked up 40 points (12G / 28A) in 63 games this season and should see an uptick in production on an extremely dangerous Jets squad.

Paul Stastny
Wingels will make his Bruins debut on Tuesday.

Wingels was acquired from the Blackhawks on Monday and with Riley Nash replacing Patrice Bergeron on the top line, Wingels will centre David Backes and Danton Heinen. Wingels has seven goals and five assists (12 points) in 57 games this season.

Tommy Wingels
Vrana will be back in the Capitals lineup on Tuesday.

Vrana has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but he will replace Alex Chiasson in the lineup tonight. Vrana, who has played a prominent role in the Capitals lineup for most of the season, has picked up just 19 points (10G / 9A) in 56 games this season. He should start the game with Evgeny Kuznetsov and T.J. Oshie.

Jakub Vrana
Brodin (hand) will return to the Wild lineup on Tuesday.

Brodin has been sidelined since February 6th but will replace Mike Reilly, who was traded to Montreal on Monday. Brodin has played on the power-play this season, but won’t return on the PP tonight. Brodin has five goals, 10 assists and a plus-19 rating in 53 games this season.

Jonas Brodin
Bergeron will miss at least two weeks with a fractured right foot.

Bergeron was hurt in Toronto on Saturday but ended up playing 17:59 TOI in Sunday’s game in Buffalo. It seems like he may have played through the fractured foot and it was discovered this week. Bergeron will miss at least two weeks and will be re-evaluated after that. Riley Nash will take his place on the top line tonight and David Backes will take his spot on the top power-play.

Patrice Bergeron
Darling will likely start Tuesday in Boston.

Darling allowed three gaols on 22 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Detroit on Saturday. Darling has gone 1-5-0 with a 3.86 GAA and .859 SV% in his last six starts as his rough 2017-18 campaign continues. In his first start vs. the Bruins, Darling allowed five goals on 28 shots in a 7-1 loss in early-January.

Scott Darling
Rask was the first goalie off of the ice at the Bruins morning skate.

Rask allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Bruins loss in Toronto on Saturday. After a ridiculous run, Rask has now lost two go his last three games while allowing a combined nine goals on 73 shots (.877 SV%). Despite the rough stretch, Rask is a must-start on home-ice vs. the Hurricanes—he is 15-5-2 with a 1.94 GAA and .930 SV% at the TD Garden this season.

Tuukka Rask
Dubnyk will start Tuesday vs. the Blues.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Wild’s win over the Sharks on Sunday. Dubnyk is riding a three-game winning streak, stopping 80 of 86 shots (.930 SV%). Tonight he faces a Blues team that is struggling as of late—the 31-year-old is 2-1-0 with a 2.99 GAA and .924 SV% vs. St. Louis this season.
