The Canadiens sent Chris Terry to St. John's (AHL) on Sunday.

Terry was a healthy scratch for five of the last six games and was returned to the AHL and replaced by Jacob De La Rose on Sunday. Terry had four points (2G / 2A) in 14 games with Montreal and goes back to St. John’s where he has 26 points (10G / 16A) in 20 games.

The Canadiens recalled Jacob De La Rose on Sunday.

De La Rose has three goals and 12 assists (15 points) in 34 games with St. John’s (AHL) this season. The 21-year-old two-way centre has seven points (4G/ 3A) in 55 career NHL games. There’s no word on whether or not he will make his season debut on Monday.

Price allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Rangers on Saturday. Since the calendar flipped to 2017, Price has gone 3-2-0 with a 3.75 GAA and .877 SV%. Tonight will be his third start vs. the Red Wings—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.49 GAA, .983 SV% and one shutout in the first two meetings.

Holtby stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Capitals’ shutout win over the Blackhawks on Friday. Philipp Grubauer started last night, so Holtby will start tonight having won six of his last seven starts while posting a ridiculous 1.11 GAA, .959 SV% and three shutouts.
