Johnson allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Flames’ loss to the Devils last Friday. Brian Elliott started on Saturday, but they’ll go back to Johnson tonight vs. the Panthers. Johnson has won two of his last four starts while posting a strong 1.78 GAA an .941 SV%. He has yet to face the Panthers this season, but has gone 8-6-0 with a 2.55 GAA and .912 SV% on home ice.
Hainsey has 10 points (2G / 8A) in 43 games this season, but will be a game-time decision tonight in Columbus. If Hainsey is unable to play, Klas Dahlbeck will be ini the Hurricanes’ lineup.
The Predators are without their top two defenseman, P.K. Subban and Roman Josi, so adding Hunt just adds some much-needed depth right now. Hunt played well with the Blues, scoring one goal with four assists (five points) in nine games before being a healthy scratch for three games and ultimately being waived.
Martinsen was in the lineup for the last two games, but will be a healthy scratch for the fourth time in the last six games. Martinsen will be replaced by John Mitchell.
Mitchell was a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Mitchell has just one goal in 34 games this season.
Lehner stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Stars on Monday afternoon. Lehner will start on back-to-back days as he gets set to face the Maple Leafs in Toronto. Lehner has won his last two starts while stopping 63 of 67 shots (.940 SV%). In his first start against the Maple Leafs, Lehner allowed two goals on 29 shots in a 2-1 loss.
Hutton allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Blues’ win in Anaheim on Sunday. Hutton won both games of the Blues’ weekend back-to-back, stopping 55 of 56 shots (.982 SV%). With Jake Allen struggling, Hutton will start for the third consecutive game and comes in at 4-2-2 with a 2.47 GAA and .912 SV% on home ice.
Fiala, 20, registered nine points (6G / 3A) in 32 games during his time with the Predators. Fiala was a healthy scratch on the weekend and now heads back to Milwaukee, where he has eight points (2G / 6A) in seven games this season.

Nedeljkovic, 21, was a second round pick (No. 37 overall) in 2014 and this is his first NHL call-up. Cam Ward has started 19 games in a row, so either Nedeljkovic is up to serve as his backup or so the Hurricanes can get a look at him at the NHL level. The American born netminder has gone 5-12-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .884 SV% with Charlotte and 2-0-0 with 2.83 GAA and.921 SV% in a brief stint with the Florida Everblades (ECHL).
Lindberg has one goal and three assists in his last six games, but just seven points (1G / 6A) in 29 games this season. Lindberg will come out of the lineup with Mika Zibanejad (fibula) set to return to the lineup on Tuesday.
Dubnyk allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Wild’s win in Chicago on Sunday. Dubnyk has won four consecutive games while posting a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV%. Dubnyk leads the NHL in both GAA (1.78) and SV% (.940), while being tied for second in wins (23) and shutouts (5). He is a must-start whenever he gets the nod in goal.
The Jets’ duo of Connor Hellebuyck and Michael Hutchinson have combined for the league’s fifth worst goals against average (3.06). The Jets have recalled Pavelec in an attempt to stop the bleeding and provide the crease with some stability. the 29-year-old has gone 8-7-2 with a 2.78 GAA and .917 SV% in 18 games with Manitoba this season. In 33 games with the Jets last year, Pavelec went 13-13-4 with a 2.78 GAA and .904 SV%.
Lundqvist allowed five goals on 23 shots after replacing Antti Raanta in the Rangers’ loss in Montreal on Saturday. With Raanta out for at least one week, Lundqvist should start all three games this week and needs to turn his game around. King Henrik is 3-3-0 with a 3.73 GAA and .872 SV% in his last six starts, but posted a 27-save shutout in his first start vs. the Stars.
Schneider turned aside 21 of 22 shots in the Devils’ win in Vancouver on Sunday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Schneider, who now sits at 3-2-2 with a 1.74 GAA and .940 SV% in seven starts in the month of January. In his first start against the Wild, Schneider stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 2-1 overtime victory.
Andersen allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Maple Leafs win in New York last Friday. Andersen got Saturday night off, so he should get back in goal tonight vs. the Sabres. The 27-year-old has gone 3-1-1 with a 3.80 GAA and .885 SV% in five games this January and tonight he faces the Sabres for the second time. He stopped 42 of 43 shots in a 2-1 win in the first meeting.
Hrivik, 25, had two assists in 16 games with the Rangers, but with Mika Zibanejad set to return on Tuesday, Hrivik was placed on waivers on Sunday. To the surprise of many, Hrivik went unclaimed, so he returns to Hartford, where he has eight goals and nine assists (17 points) in 20 games.
Gabriel has been a healthy scratch for four straight games and eight times in the last 10 games. With Jordan Schroeder playing well, Gabriel returns to the AHL, where he has five points (4G / 1A) in 22 games this season.
With Antti Raanta out for at least one week, Hellberg comes up and is expected to serve as Henrik Lundqvist’s backup. Hellberg has gone 10-9-1 with a 2.91 GAA and .905 SV% in 25 games with Hartford (AHL) this season.
O’Connor served as Mike Condon’s backup since December 20th when he was recalled, but they’ve sent him back to Binghamton so he can get some games in. O’Connor is 8-10-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .898 SV% with Binghamton this season.
