Since coming in for Malcolm Subban two Saturday’s ago, Dansk has gone 3-0-0 while stopping 71 of 74 shots (.959 SV%). He’ll look to continue his winning streak tonight vs. an Islanders team that is averaging 3.45 goals for per game.




Hanzal suffered a lower-body injury in Calgary on Friday and will not be in the lineup tonight in Vancouver. He has had a slow start in Dallas, collected just one goal in his first 11 games. With Hanzal out, Antoine Roussel will get a shot in the Stars’ top-6.

Varlamov allowed seven goals on 21 shots in Colorado’s blowout loss in Vegas last Friday. Varlamov had nearly one full week off prior to tonight’s start vs. the Hurricanes. After a nice start to the season, Varlamov has lost three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 16 goals on 127 shots (.874 SV%).

Reimer turned away 36 of 38 shots in the Panthers’ shootout loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. Reimer has gone 3-3-1 with a 3.19 GAA and .912 SV% in six starts and one relief appearance so far this season. One of his wins came against Tampa Bay—he stopped 26 of 30 shots in a 5-4 win on October 7th.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Red Wings last Thursday. Vasilevskiy was given a night off on Saturday, so they’ll come back to him tonight in Florida. The 23-year-old rolls in on an eight-game winning streak and has posted a 2.20 GAA, .936 SV% and one shutout in 10 starts this season. He is already 1-1-0 with a 4.08 GAA and .905 SV% in two starts vs. Florida.

Markstrom allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Canucks’ win in Detroit last Sunday. Anders Nilsson started both games last week, but they’ll come back to Markstrom tonight vs. the visiting Stars. Markstrom has won his last two starts while stopping 40 of 43 shots (.930 SV%). Dallas comes into the game averaging 2.91 goals for per game (20th in the NHL).

Boeser is dealing with a foot contusion and will be held out of the lineup tonight. Despite missing this game, head coach Travis Green expect him to return either Wednesday or by the weekend at the latest. Jayson Megna will draw in for Boeser.

Jones allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Sharks’ loss in Boston last Thursday. Aaron Dell got the nod on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Jones tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Jones has struggled early-on at the SAP Center, going 2-2-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .895 SV% in four starts so far.

DeKeyser has missed the last nine games and was believed to be close to returning, but the Red Wings announced on Monday that he will be out for at least 10 more days. The Red Wings are not expected to recall a defenseman at this time.

Forsling left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and has been listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Flyers. Forsling has had a nice start to the season, picking up four assists in 12 games while averaging 16:42 TOI/GM.

Scherbak suffered the injury last Thursday and underwent surgery today. Scherbak is expected to be sidelined until mid-December and will likely return to the ice with Laval (AHL) but could work his way back to the NHL.

Andersen allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss to Philadelphia on Saturday. Andersen has hit the skids recently, losing three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 17 goals on 140 shots (.879 SV%). Tonight he will take on a Sharks team that has won four of their last six and come in at 5-5-0.

Kuokkanen, 19, got into the lineup on Saturday but didn’t record a point in any of his four games with the Hurricanes. The 2016 second round pick (No.43 overall) will make his AHL debut this week; he turned pro this season after collecting 62 points (26G / 36A) in 60 games with London (OHL) last year.

Ekman-Larsson left Saturday’s game in New Jersey early, but is fine and will play tonight in Philadelphia. O.E.L was hurt after absorbing a high-hit but there are no lingering effects. The 26-year-old has recorded six points (1G / 5A) in 11 games this season.

Palmieri has missed the last two games with a left foot injury and will not travel on the Devils’ Western Canada trip. With Palmieri out, Drew Stafford will remain on the top-line and Jesper Bratt will stay in the top-6.
