Hammond’s 2016-17 season wraps up having gone 2-3-0 with a 3.24 GAA and .884 SV% in five games with Binghamton (AHL) and 0-2-0 with 4.08 GAA and .837 SV% in six games with the Senators. He was injured over the weekend and will miss the remainder of the year.

He is a really strong skater and should be part as the Red Wings’ top-6 next season.
