Galchenyuk is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

Galchenyuk was hurt during Sunday’s shootout win in Los Angeles, but traveled to St. Louis with the team. After undergoing some testing in St. Louis, Galchenyuk will return to Montreal to undergo further testing. Expect a more definitive timetable to be revealed later this week. In the meantime, Andrew Shaw will likely shift to centre for Tuesday’s game.

Yandle (lower-body) is expected to miss an extended period of time.

Yandle left Monday’s game after playing just 4:51 and did not return. After the game, Panthers’ head coach Tom Rowe said that Yandle will be out for “a while.” Yandle has appeared in 577 consecutive games, a streak that will come to an end on Tuesday. Look for Dylan McIlrath to draw back into the lineup for Florida.

The Flyers have recalled Taylor Leier from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Leier, 22, was a fourth round pick (117 overall) in 2012 and is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday. Leier has been recalled because Matt Read (upper-body) will miss approximately four weeks. Leier has picked up 20 points (6G / 14A) in 22 games with Lehigh Valley this season, but has failed to record a point in his first six NHL games.

Read will miss four weeks with an upper-body injury.

Read was injured during Sunday’s win over the Predators when he was hit into the net by Filip Forsberg. Read will miss approximately one month and his injury has left to the Flyers recalling Taylor Leier from Lehigh Valley (AHL)—he is expected to replace Read on Tuesday.

Bennett (leg) has been cleared to play on Tuesday.

Bennett has missed the last three games with a leg laceration, but he is set to return on Tuesday. With Pavel Zacha (face) out, Bennett will likely slide onto the the third line. Bennett enters play with seven points (1G / 6A) in 20 games this season.

Zacha (facial laceration) will not play Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Zacha was cut during Saturday’s win in Nashville and will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday. Zacha has picked up two goals and five assists (seven points) in 24 games this season—expect Zacha to be replaced by either Beau Bennett or Sergey Kalinin, who were both cleared to play on Monday.

Luongo leads the Panthers onto the ice for warmups.

Luongo allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Panthers’ 2-0 shutout loss in Ottawa on Saturday. Luongo is 3-2-1 with a 1.47 GAA and .950 SV% in his last six starts and tonight he faces the Bruins for the second time this season. In the first meeting, he allowed two goals on 26 shots in a 2-1 loss on home-ice.

Bobrovsky starts Monday vs. the Coyotes.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in Colorado on Thursday. Bobrovsky was given Saturday night off, so he is expected to face the Coyotes tonight on home-ice. Goalie Bob has won three of his last four while posting a 1.72 GAA and .929 SV%. Bobrovsky has also gone 8-3-0 with a 2.11 GAA and .932 SV% on home-ice this season.

Varlamov will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Varlamov gave up two goals on 32 shots in Colorado’s loss to the Stars on Saturday. Varlamov has lost his las three starts while posting a 3.44 GAA and .908 SV%. The Russian netminder has had a tough season and tonight he faces the Predators for the second time—in the first meeting he was shredded for five goals on 36 shots in a 5-1 loss.

Dorsett will undergo neck surgery and is out indefinitely.

Dorsett will undergo cervical disc surgery in his neck and will miss a significant amount of time. Dorsett is expected to make a full recovery and return to game action, but there’s no timetable for his return at this point.

The Flames have sent Hunter Shinkaruk to Stockton (AHL).

Shinkaruk has been a healthy scratch for the last three games and with Johnny Gaudreau returning on Sunday, Shinkaruk returns to Stockton. The 22-year-old has four goals and three assists (seven points) in seven games with Stockton.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in Colorado on Thursday. Bobrovsky was given Saturday night off, so he is expected to face the Coyotes tonight on home-ice. Allen surrendered four goals on 26 shots, but still walked away with the win last Thursday vs. the Lightning. Carter Hutton started on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Allen tonight vs. Montreal. Allen has won seven consecutive games while posting a 2.24 GAA and .922 SV%. He will put that streak on the line tonight against Carey Price and the NHL’s top team.

Schneider will start Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Schneider allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Devils’ loss in Chicago last Thursday. Keith Kinkaid started on Saturday, so there’s no surprise that Schneider will start vs. his former team tonight in New Jersey. Schneider has struggled on the road, but is an impressive 7-0-1 with a 2.31 GAA and .920 SV% at home.

Anderson will start Monday in Pittsburgh.

Anderson allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Senators loss to the Sabres last Tuesday. After the game, he left the team for the rest of the week, but returns to the crease tonight in Pittsburgh. Anderson comes into play tied for sixth in wins (12), tied for seventh in SV% (.930) and tied for 13th in GAA (2.20). He’ll take on a Penguins team that has won three of four.

Domingue will start Monday in Columbus.

Domingue stopped all 10 shots that he faced after replacing Mike Smith in the Coyotes’ loss to the Canucks on November 23rd. Domingue had been out with a lower-body injury, but will make his 13th start tonight. Domingue is 2-5-1 with a 4.20 GAA and .880 SV% on the road and tonight he faces a Blue Jackets team that fired 60 shots on Smith on Saturday.
