

There is no word when Bieksa suffered the injury, but it could have been on the “superman punch” heard around the hockey world on Tuesday. He logged 18:20 TOI in Philadelphia, so the hand injury was likely discovered post-game. The injuries just don’t seem to stop coming for the Ducks, who were just starting to get healthy on the back-end.

Miller missed last Saturday’s game vs. Buffalo, but it looks like he will be back in tonight vs. the Sharks. Miller has no points, four shots, 21 hits and 11 blocked shots on the young season.

Turris was already listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game, but head coach Guy Boucher announced that he will miss Friday’s game in New Jersey as well. With Turris out, Filip Chlapik will draw into the Senators lineup.

Jones allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Sharks’ win in New York on Monday. Jones is riding a four-game winning streak, while posting an impressive 1.25 GAA, .957 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he takes on the NHL’s sixth best offence (3.43 GF/PG) in Boston, but has a good chance at victory with Anton Khudobin across the ice from him.

Perlini has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury that he suffered in the third game of the season in Vegas. He was removed from IR, which is a positive sign that he will play tonight, but the Coyotes have officially listed him as a game-time decision. He has just one assist in three games and has averaged just 9:15 TOI/GM.

van Riemsdyk fell awkwardly during Monday’s win over the Kings, missed Wednesday’s practice, but was on the ice for the morning skate and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s meeting with Carolina. van Riemsdyk will be replaced by Josh Leivo if he is unable to play.

Weegar appeared in three straight games, scoring one goal and averaging 14:01 TOI/GM, but will be replaced by Alex Petrovic tonight vs. the Ducks. Weegar has now been a healthy scratch for six of the first nine games of the season.

Petrovic has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace MacKenzie Weegar in the lineup tonight vs. the Ducks. Petrovic has just one assist in six games, but has collected 14 hits (2.33 hits/GP).

Murray allowed just one goal on 30 shots in the Penguins victory vs. the Oilers on Tuesday. Murray has ripped off six straight wins and comes into tonight’s meeting with the Jets at 3-0-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .934 SV% in four starts at PPG Paints Arena this season.

Hill gave up five goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes loss to Dallas last Thursday. In his first two NHL starts, Hill has given up a combined seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). Tonight he will try and give the Coyotes their first win of the season as he faces a Rangers team sitting at 2.50 goals for per game so far this year.

Quick surrendered three goals on 33 shots in the Kings loss in Toronto on Monday. Darcy Kuemper started on Tuesday, so they’ll come back to Quick in their third game in four nights. Quick has been really good to start 2017-18, winning five of seven starts with a 2.15 GAA and. 934 SV%—make sure he is in your lineups in Montreal.

Rask has missed the last two games with a concussion that he suffered in practice, but will dress tonight vs. the Sharks. With Khudobin going tonight, you can fully expect to see Rask on Saturday vs. the Kings.

Auger appeared in two games with the Kings last week, but was a healthy scratch for the last two games and returns to Ontario where he has yet to collect a point in three games.

Amadio, 21, was a third round pick (No.90 overall) in 2014 and has earned his first career call-up following a two-assist in five-game start to the AHL season. The Canadian-born forward had 41 points (16G / 25A) in 68 games with the Reign a season ago.

Khudobin allowed five goals on 42 shots in the Bruins’ overtime loss to the Sabres last Saturday. Despite Tuukka Rask (concussion) being cleared to play tonight, Khudobin will make his third straight start. He has had to solid outings and one stinker, so be cautious with him vs. a solid Sharks team.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Wild’s 1-0 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. Dubnyk surprisingly has just one win in five starts, while posting a 3.25 GAA and .899 SV%. Those numbers should start to normalize and Dubnyk should start racking up the W’s soon. He has decent matchup tonight against the visiting Islanders, who are 5-3-1 through their first nine.

Quine has missed the first nine games of the season with an upper-body injury, so he will head to Bridgeport for a few games to get up to speed before likely returning to the Islanders. The 24-year-old had five goals and 13 assists (18 points) in 61 games with the Islanders last season.
