Howard has a 2.54 GAA and .924 SV% across seven starts this season, but is a very risky start tonight vs. the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning.

Schultz left Tuesday’s game vs. Edmonton after being hit by Drake Caggiula and was diagnosed with a concussion postgame. It’s hard to pinpoint how long he will be sidelined with a concussion, but his move to IR means he’ll miss at least tonight’s game. With Schultz on IR, the Penguins have used that roster spot to recall Frank Corrado.
